I recently had a haircut at SalonTodd on 10/15/24 and my experience was
far from what I expected given the numerous positive reviews. While I
didn’t mind waiting a few minutes for my appointment, *** **********
arrived hurriedly with loud music blaring from his car, creating a
chaotic atmosphere right from the start. During the haircut, his energy
was overwhelming; he frequently spun my chair around to show me the
progress and made excessive compliments about my looks, which felt
insincere and added to my discomfort.

When I presented a reference photo for the hairstyle I wanted, he
initially expressed no concerns. However, after cutting my hair, he
abruptly claimed that my desired style was unrealistic for my hair type,
which left me feeling confused and frustrated. His reactions to my
feedback were disproportionate and defensive, suggesting that we might
have “personality differences” rather than addressing my concerns. This
only added to my unease and made me feel invalidated.

Ultimately, the haircut did not meet my expectations, and I left feeling
rushed and dissatisfied. Because of these issues, I felt compelled to
report my experience to the cosmetology board. I hope this review serves
