I acquired two Groupons for oil changes for my two vehicles, albeit without thoroughly reviewing the fine print for potential additional charges. Nevertheless, I consented to cover any extra costs. During the wait, **** sent me a photo revealing two lug nuts broken off, with the studs still embedded. They attributed the damage to the previous tire installation and insisted on a $95 fee to rectify it. ******, the attendant, claimed this was the best offer due to obtaining parts at cost. However, upon receiving the bill, I discovered the part cost only $30.56, while $64.32 was charged for labor. As a concerned customer, I questioned whether **** might have caused the damage themselves. When I asked ****** if I lacked the $95, would I be forced to leave with an unsafe vehicle missing two lug nuts? His response was affirmative, leaving me feeling coerced into payment to avoid driving an unsafe vehiclea predicament that arose only after patronizing Nova.

      Hi,

The customer was at a previous shop installing tires or having some services at his tires. When he came at our shop for oil change, we always offer to rotate the tires, we found that his lug nuts were to tight to the point that those 2 lugs nuts has to be removed either by us or by any other shop in order to be able to remove the wheel from the vehicle and because of those 2 lug nuts overtight by previous shop there is no other way to removed them by breaking them of and have the studs replaced it. It was explained to the customer prices of parts and labor and he agree to continue with the service. It was also explained that is not safe to drive a vehicle without all the lugnuts. The customer has always the last decision, our job is to inform them prices of repair and possible safety risk. He needs to understand that in order to replace the Studs there is extra labor involved and we have charged him accordingly by the book that it show labor time and parts. No one is forced to do any work, the customer ultimately has the options also to tow the car from the shop if he doesnt feel safe or if he doesnt believe in our expertise.

This company doesn't even merit a one-star rating. If you value your safety and your hard-earned money, steer clear of entrusting your car repairs to these individuals. I made the mistake of doing business with them after they claimed to be AAA certified, only to discover upon verification with AAA that they were not certified at all.Initially, I sought their services for my car refusing to drive past first gear. They falsely diagnosed the problem as being related to the brakes, insisting on replacing the pads and rotors at a staggering cost of over $1100. Despite their hefty charges, the shifting problem persisted. Subsequently, they claimed there was yet another issue with the car, demanding an additional $2300 for repairs. I wouldn't let them continue to take advantage of me any further, I took the car to another shop.Thankfully, the other shop resolved the shifting problem without exorbitant fees. In light of this gross incompetence and blatant overcharging, I am pursuing legal action against them and their insurer in small claims court to get my $1100 back.

Hi, This customer is not telling the truth. His vehicle has no maintenance so ever, his brakes were at risk and we show it to him and he agree on the repairs, once the brakes got fix and replaced he want us to diagnosed another problem and we did as requested and provided him with a quote. Despite that, we also offered him to do a more further diagnostic at no cost but he refuse it and took his vehicle driving it with his brakes repaired. There is nothing we can do at this time because the only repair we did were the brakes and the customer is not complaining about that, besides that if he has any problems with the brakes, we have warranty for that that he can use but that warranty is only good for 12 month or ****** miles and at thi time that warranty is expired. Thank you
