Account Credit and Transactions - Today there was some confusion regarding the amount that should be credited to my account. Below/attached you will find all accepted/completed Zelle transactions sent to your Zelle account *********************************** for the total amount of $800.00.Bookings and ****************** On Saturday, July 15th, 2023, my daughter, and I spoke with ********************* to book a move for Saturday, July 29th, 2023. At this time ************ gave us a quote and stated that since I have been paying down on a move from ***********. in Hollywood to ************, ** the money received can be used for this newly scheduled move. After receiving all information regarding the new move and destination; ************ quoted based on the information received $350.00. But today no one can find any information or any booking that ************ should have made.In addition, no one at your office can find any information regarding my move today. And when I asked questions or was upset because I made arrangements for my move today July 29t, I was yelled at, insulted, and hung up on by the customer service representatives (Laila ** for asking about my money and when my move would take place. I also requested a supervisor and/or owners contact information I was told, "When you're not satisfied at ******* do you ask to speak to the owner?!" I don't understand what that statement has to do with my move which should have taken place today (July 29, 2023).Finally, when I did speak with the supervisor/manager on duty today (July 29, 2023) she was extremely nasty and rude. When I was requesting a written copy of the contract and trying to confirm dates and times, she became more belligerent and stated, I am busy! I do not have time for you! 1.Misleading Pricing: I was initially quoted $3,000 for the moving services after a FaceTime call with one of their employees named *****. However, during the move, I was charged a total of $11,175, resulting in an $8,175 upcharge that was not agreed upon or expected.2.Sexual Exploitation and Discrimination: Throughout the moving process, I experienced sexual exploitation and discrimination, as Small Move Movers' employees made inappropriate and offensive comments of a sexual nature.3.Attempted Extortion: Their employees engaged in discriminatory behavior and attempted to extort more money from me by exploiting my personal circumstances as a single woman.4.Failure to Document: Small Move Movers failed to properly log and document the contents of my move, which indicates a lack of transparency and *********************** to Belongings: A significant portion of my belongings was severely damaged during the move, including valuable and irreplaceable items.6.Missing Possessions: Several of my possessions are missing, and the unloading process revealed random parts of furniture scattered on the truck floor, suggesting negligence and security concerns.7.Inefficiency in Claims Process: Despite multiple attempts to initiate the claims process, I have not received a satisfactory response or fair compensation for the damaged items.To add to my concerns, when I contacted the Pompano Beach ****************** for a Public Records Request (PR-2023-1379), I discovered that **************************** has not renewed its Business Tax Receipt since 2021. Furthermore, the ********** of *********** License they have on file is expired.I am seeking a full refund of my moving expenses, amounting to $11,175, as well as appropriate compensation for the value of my damaged goods. The losses I have incurred due to Small Move Movers' fraudulent practices and mistreatment are substantial, and I believe it is essential for the company to take responsibility for their actions.Initial Complaint

This company was contacted by my mother to move her home items from ******, ** to ***********, **. They quoted her $700. Upon arrival to ***********, ** they would not accept any form of payment outside of cash app and apple pay and sent a bill of $4,100. On top of that they were two hours late arriving to my mom's house to load everything. This caused them to be late to *********** and the storage facility ended up closing while we struggled to find a way to come up with $3,800 in cash somewhere that was four hours a way. They company would not work with us nor was any of this told to us upfront.Initial Complaint

Movers Scam:- Original estimate game reasonable for 2 miles only single story. Furniture ONLY.- Movers disappeared with truck for more than an hour and a half. After they came back, they refused to open the truck and unload unless I see and pay the new bill, that was outstanding for 2 miles only and 2 hours. Total should have been 4 hours after assembling the furniture. That's all I wanted.- Movers blackmailed me and held my furniture hostage until I payed another $3600 after originally wanting $4200 (Documents attached). They never discussed with me any changes and why, they simply held the furniture and the belongings and demanded cash.- I understand the payment disclaimer. But it was too much money for demanding that cash. I expected maximum a between $850-$1000 for 2 miles and no stairs.- I called the police to have it on record.- They were ruthless and acted like gangsters.- The picture attached of 3 white kids playroom bookshelf, are IKEA made light pieces. They charged $1200 for these as bulky items. Another photo shows a kid twin bed Ikea too. All normal, non bulky furniture.- The picture that shows the sofa, is to show the way they handled white furniture not even wrapped.- They charged for crating, but they didn't crate anything, no even the **** The picture from the garage shows the total of the furniture and the way it was handled and left.- After getting the money and releasing the content of the truck, they dumped everything down in the garage and took off, They said that's what I get for not paying the full bill.These are scammers, unprofessional, rude and blackmailers.Any help will be highly appreciated.Thank you.(Please don't disclose my full name publicly)Initial Complaint

I originally hired this company on 5/25/23 to move me to another state. I gave them a deposit of 450 and was given a move date of 5/28/23. On my move date no one called or showed up. I called the numbers on the website and no one answered any of them. Two days later they called me and asked if I was ready for my upcoming move. I told them they missed the move and I had to go with another company because of the deadline I had. I told them this deadline was explained over the phone and your guys ensured me you would be able to deliver. Everyone I spoke with told me the same thing. They don't give refunds and they have no idea why no one came to move my stuff or how the dates got messed up. I was promised a call from corporate which I never got. I was told repeatedly that they are not giving me back my deposit. I was forced to try and use them again since I could not get my deposit back. I applied it to my mothers move and could not be more upset about what they did. On the day of the move they rescheduled twice and said it's there right to move her whenever they can. They did not come until the next day. They promised three workers and a truck but only two showed up. Those two were upset they had to lift a couch and decided to charge an extra 300 for that. When they were asked everyone in the company said the same thing, "We get to decide what to charge for once we get there". I asked them why we weren't informed the couch would be extra until after they moved it, no one answered. They charged my mother the time running to the bank, the time they stopped to eat a lunch when they were only working for one hour, and they were upset she did not tip so they banged up her couch. She told them they messed up her couch and they said, "so what it happens". I told them I am filing a claim and of course the people who accept claims took two days to get back to me and said they don't accept claims past those two days after your move. I want a refund of 300$ or a new couch.Initial Complaint

I booked a move from a storage unit in ******* to Ga. I spoke. With ********************* gave him unit size. Got a quote rate ****. To move he said a special price. Payed deposit bid 350 by check. They said we dont accept credit cards peoples cancel their payment. When they picked up at unit price jumped bro **** said it was 500 cf. wanted **** dollars by Zelle payment. My bank froze the payment then they wanted check. I texted copy of check. I am being scammed on these prices and want a refund back.Initial Complaint

I got one quote before my things were added on truck. Another quote when they were loaded . Third quote and was told my things would be taken to a warehouse of I did pay over 400 dollars more. When delivered all my things were soaking wet to the point I have to put some outside. I spoke to the driver and he charge me another 180 to bring things off truck.. nothing was put together and set up as promised because bedrail and parts or missing. Plus a tall dresser missing tall dresser . I sign with the truck driver that this happen. Plus have copies of the three billsInitial Complaint

When I sold my house and moved to *********** (5/1/2023) I hired a moving company to help with the transition. Small Move Movers has been a nightmare. They stole over **** dollars from me and refused to unload my belongs because the zelle I sent them wouldnt release until the next day. They then made me cash app the money to them (the only way to get my things unloaded). After two days and not hearing from them I called the company. ***** refused to talk to me and blocked me. I was yelled at and insulted by the customer service representative for asking about my money. I was then told by the customer service rep that their companys bank account has been frozen. I had never called my bank or disputed the charges (its zelle and cash app the bank will not reverse it). They also would not allow me to speak with the owner and told me to ****** it and figure out who he is. I have literally been fighting for my sanity because I just dont have the money to give a way. That was my next months rent and electricity. Please dont use this company. They are scammers. I read the reviews a little too late. For I have never seen the righteous forsaken! Share! Save someone who may be in a rush like I was from this scam company!
