I live in an apartment at ******************. Under our lease they agree to pest control. We have requested pest control to get rid of roaches for over a month now. They have increased our rent and still are not providing the pest control service that is agreed upon under the lease. Pest control used to show up regularly, however the office is now under new management. This new management is ignoring our emails, not providing us proof that pest control is showing up and giving us the run around. I believe the amount of roaches showing up is a health concern since it is where we live, sleep, eat and cook. Since pest control is agreed upon under our lease and I am paying rent, I expect this issue to be rectified but the apartment is not dealing with this issue no matter how many times we stop by, call or email.

The apartment complex lost/misplaced my rent check for the month of July, then sent me a notice almost two months later (9/21/22) stating that I had an overdue balance of $500 that needed to be paid ASAP. Luckily, I keep the stubs from my money orders specifically for reasons of such.I checked the status for said money order and found out it was cashed and once I told that news to the office I have yet to hear back from the leasing office since Friday (9/23/22) in regards to any updates. Then I had a need to check the reviews for the complex, and there's so many people who've sadly had to go through the same thing I'm dealing with now. My partner and I work too hard to provide for ourselves and to keep a roof over our heads just for them to play oopsies with our money!
