On ******* at 9:56 am, I reached out to Keith McDonald Plumbing on getting an estimate regarding plumbing work. I was scheduled for someone to come out on ******* to look at what I wanted to be done. On ******* a Keith McDonald employee came out as scheduled and the guy who was here stated that once he wrote it up that my estimate would be sent via email and if something occurred where I didn't receive it someone from the office would give me a call. On ************ at 10:50 am, I reached out to Keith McDonald due to I had not received my estimate; I was told that I would have my estimate later that day and that they do apologize for it taking so long. I responded by saying no problem. Later that day I check my email "spam and all" and no "estimate" email; I did not hear from anyone from Keith McDonald via telephone either. On ********, 22 at 2:31 pm, I called Keith McDonald regarding my estimate, this time I was told that the guy was still trying to do my estimate and that someone will reach out to me on Monday which would have been *****, 22; no one called nor did I receive an email "check everything, spam." At this time I would like to receive a refund due to a service I paid for and never did receive; and at this time even if I did receive one from them I would not want them to do the service. I feel that regardless of if I am a major company or just a residential someone should have reached out. Here it is, almost a month and no estimate, just give me my refund so that I can use that money to get someone else.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/06/09) */ We have sent a message to Mrs ****** letting her know that we fully agree we dropped the ball. I told her I was happy to refund her the money. She paid in cash so I can't refund it digitally. I have asked her if she would prefer to come to the office or for a refund to be mailed. I have not received a response from her. I am not sure who KEITH McDonald's Plumbing spoke to but it was not me, ***************. I never received a call or spoke to anyone. Can they please send my refund in a check to my address. This happened *********************** I had a busted water pipe in the front yard. The Keith Mcdonald plumber came and apparently "searched" for the leak for 5 hours. He dug one hole and pumped water out. He eventually left me a voicemail that we had a situation and promptly left the jobsite and didnt answer my return call within the 30 minutes it took for me to call him back on a ****** workday at 4pm. He never returned my call, office was closed at 4 and I was left all weekend without water and no explanation until I called them ****** morning. The response I got was to call a leak detection company. I decided to call another local plumber, who had a temporary pipe ran in less than 3 hours and was shocked at the work that was done by Keith Mcdonald Plumbing. When I received the $620 bill, I called to try to pay a portion, since I thought that would be fair considering the pathetic job and horrible, disrespectful customer service, but instead I was threatened with legal consequences.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/03/29) */ customer was not home and tech could not reach the customer so we could not find out how she wanted to proceed. By the time she called back it was to late to schedule her in. The customer as all customers was charged the service call he was out there for four hours. They could not solve the problem because they could not reach her. We would have rescheduled but she is refusing to pay the bill. I was not asked to be on premises nor was I unable to reach all day. I happen to be in a meeting from 330 to 4 and my return call at 403 was never returned.30 minutes is not unreasonable.I was also available by text, which I never received one. Not only did I never hear a word, the tenants were left all weekend with no water or answers. When i called ****** morning to see what happened, it was very vague. Oh ya...he had to leave. You need to call someone else to find the leak. Subsequent plumber ****** was able to run a temporary line in just 2 hours since apparently it didn't really matter where the leak was since it was not indoors. Which I had already determined prior to calling Keith McDonald plumber. Also the new plumber determined the small amount of digging could not possible warrant 4 hours of "digging". I am will to pay half of this bill to be fair.
