We did not have a good experience with DisasterPro. As a heads up, any bad review you see they claim it wasn't them and it must have been another company. Don't believe it.The main problem came with their finishing work. I have uploaded pictures to show how they paint and lay travertine. They tried laying 6 pieces of tile multiple times and each time it got worse. It is so uneven. You can feel and see the difference between the tiles. There is almost an 1/8" difference between some of the tiles. They came back multiple times to fix the paint and the pictures are their finished work.There was sheetrock in the closet that had gotten completely wet. After it had dried it was obviously damaged .Their plan was to just paint over it. We have very good insurance that would cover all the damage but for some unknown reason DisasterPro did not want tear it out. To their credit when we pushed for it to be replaced, they did.Their problem is/was that they don't have well trained finishers. The first piece of sheet rock hung in the dining room was terrible. Fortunately the guy (independent contractor) that came to texture the wall was able to fix it. However, this guy had never done the type of texturing we have on our walls. There is a difference but he gave it his best. Unfortunately we never got to have him again.When we contracted with them their website claimed that they were approved by the Better Business Bureau. When we reached out to the BBB they said DisasterPro was not approved by them. This is very unethical and is an indicator of their business practices.Their websites claims they have been in business since ****. That *** be true but the ownership has changed and it is not the same company. Beware!I will say that each worker that came to our home was very kind and polite. They did great at drying out the space that was flooded with great response time.
