Tried to use this company to repair an issue that previous owner of new house reported. They insisted that we pay another $170 dollar diagnosis fee for them to come back out to the house and re diagnose the exact same issues that previous owners had the company diagnose (diagnosis was done about a year and a half ago). The fact that this company wants to charge to come out and reevaluate the EXACT SAME ISSUE that was previously diagnosed by the same company is completely absurd. I finally got them to provide me a quote (that included the $170 service fee) and they increased the price 140% from the prior quote noting parts and labor increases. I can understand a moderate increase due to the old quote being a year and a half old but 140% is completely insane and goes to show that the goal of this company is to not honor prior quotes (or even increase prior quote to accurately account for inflation, not 140%) but to nickel and dime their customers and squeeze every ***** they can out of them all while providing horrible customer service and bad attitudes on the phone. Do not go with this company, I would recommend one of the multiple other companies available to service your appliances.    

First, we would like to state that we have never provided or performed any service for this particular person. This individual was a bully to our office staff on the phone when given the initial service call fee and immediately threatened our company with bad reviews for not honoring a quote provided to the previous homeowners in November of 2022- which they declined to proceed with at the time. It was then agreed upon that our office staff would get back into contact with the individual purchasing the home (even after their unpleasant manner) to offer an updated quote from the technician who looked at the unit almost 2 years ago to repair it. The office staff then called and emailed the individual with the updated estimated total repair cost for the Thermador Cooktop (which is 20+ years old). The quote from November 2022 was $925 total while the current estimate given was between $1200-$1500 total. Given that it was an estimate we had to take in several factors including the service call fee (which in part pays our office staff to answer calls like yours), parts (which have significantly gone up in price), and labor (which could be extensive based on condition, environment, and age of the unit) none of which calculates to 140% increase as the person stated in this review. Most companies would just tell you to buy a new unit; however, our company prides itself on working on appliances that others won't- which is also our motto. Given how this person treated our office staff we are not inclined to fix any appliance of yours in the future- take a walk guy and best of luck.
