February 28, 2023 my husband dropped louvers off to be painted. We did not hear anything till March 27, when Athenian called to ask what the color code was because they forgot to write it down & let us know they were going to paint them today and we could come get them in a couple days. It was 3 or 4 days later when my husband stopped at Athenian after work to pick them up. He looked them over & noticed that they did not follow the directions that were actually given by the company on how to prep & paint them. The tape lines are all messed up, they didn't prep them correctly, they painted both sides & left spray off marks. When my husband asked *** (the owner) about it, *** told him that precut inserts for the louvers didn't stick so they used masking tape. We also noticed they noticed a be piece that was not correct and instead of repainting it they touched it up with something that looks like white out. These inserts were perfectly cut so there would be no tape lines. My husband was extremely ******, he gave *** $100.00 and walked out.When I got home I looked then over, I was ****** he even paid $100 for the quality of the work, lack of communication & the lack of taking responsibility for their mistake. These louvers are now unusable. I took the louvers back over to Athenian on April 6, to point out all the little things wrong with them & why we no longer can put them in our show car. **** (owners son) said to leave ********* would see what they could do to fix them up, *** was sitting in the background hearing everything I'm telling **** & said nothing besides yes this was a job he took in. It's now June 30, 85 days, almost 3 month later & we have not heard a word from anyone at Athenian, since we both happened to be off work we decided we would go up there. We walked in & *** told us we haven't had time to do anything to them handed us the box that was right where they put it when I dropped it off April 6. Now we are out $400 and 4 months worth of time.
