Wish i could give a negative star review. They lie, misrepresent, one person says one thing, another person says another. Bought a caterpillar engine. Paid in full. Ad clearly states "has" new bearings and seals. Engine would ship within the week, just needed to be dynoed and shipped. Close to 2 weeks later, they tell me they needed to order bearings for it yet. This engine is for a semi. I need this engine so I can use my semi. Told them if I knew it was going to be 3 weeks, I never would have bought this engine. Sales lady ****** said bearings would be installed Wednesday, talked to *****, he said the bearings were already installed. He told me that they can't give all my money back because they already opened the engine up to install bearings and seals. Ad already states it was supposed to have new bearings and seals. Then ***** said they had to keep 20% of the purchase price because when they sell this engine to another individual, they wouod have to put new seals and bearings in it again? What??? That is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. Then I got an email from ****** who says bearings were not installed yet. They clearly have no idea what is going on. Run, run far away from this place. Should tell you something is sketchy when the name is diesel quip doing business as diesel sales. If they would've been honest and said engine is not ready, will be 3 weeks. I would've went else where. I just wanted my money back so I can purchase an engine to get my truck back on the road. ***** said he was sorry. I said if you were sorry, I would get all my money back. He laughed. Place us pathetic.
