My deceased mother took out a life insurance policy on me when I was a child. I have submitted paperwork to transfer ownership of this policy to myself. I requested the policy be surrenders and cashed out on October 3. The business quoted me 7-10 business days for processing. It has been over 20 business days and I have not received the surrender. I have called this business 10 times and have gotten 10 different excuses as to why this is taking so long. This is absurd. They refuse to allow me to speak to a manager, and refuse to respond to my emails and request for call back. I need the policy to be surrendered. This has been absurd.

Unsure when accident took place, assumed to have been hit on Street or parking lot. we have original notification of claim, appraisal coverage acceptance and then a lack of coverage... Since we have reported the findings are still a denial of coverage. We have full coverage insurance... No reason it to not be covered. We were prepared to pay 1000 deductible but had to pay 5000! We need help

For 2 years Kemper has been using an address I do not reside in in order to charge me a premium $111/mo more than the agreed upon premium amount. I didn't learn this until I went insurance shopping because I thought it was outrageous that I was paying $186/mo when I live in a safe neighborhood, and I don't drive to work and rarely drive it otherwise. They raised my premium first by about $62, then again by another $49 all in the span of a single year. That's roughly $3,600 over 2 years (literally more than double my agreed upon premium) when it should have been somewhere in the $1,800-$2,100 ballpark (even with a standard premium increase). They fixed it last month (09/2024) and brought it back down to the correct $71.82 amount and apologized for the inconvenience. Okay fine, that amount was then charged in September 2024. Now in October 2024, they changed the policy and are now repeating their first move in the scheme and again charging me an additional $65 without any sort of notice or explanation so they can move me back up to the higher premium again regardless of my address (they claim they sent emails and physical mail, all of which I never received). The customer service agent could not tell me why they were using the incorrect address since 2022 and then went on a rant of how difficult and lengthy the process would be to investigate this, clearly trying to convince me it would not be worth my time. They also had a fake note that I called in 2023 to change my address to the incorrect one they had on file, which is a miracle to me because I have never spoken to a Kemper agent until August this year (2024) and have been at my current address since 2022. I would like my policy to be prorated for the last two years and receive a refund for the incorrect additional charges due to the fraudulent address change. This is a classic bait and switch scheme, a good one at that, and this insurance company should be held accountable.

On October 15th the companies insurer caused damages to my vehicle and i have called the assigned adjuster everyday since October 15th. I have left a few messages for her supervisor and still haven't received a call back in regards to my claim. This is very unprofessional and has caused a lengthly time with this claim not be resolved in a timely manner.

I've had these policies thru this company for over 20 yrs. In July I was unable to pay full monthly amount of $60.93, they asked to at least pay $14.28, which I did on 08/01/2024. I was told in September my policies would lapse if I didn't bring up to to date. Through their secure pay line I paid premium of $94.00 on 09/11/2024, $60.93 on 09/14/24, $60.93 on 09/27/2024 and $23.56 on 09/30/2024. Each time on their secure pay line I was selecting premium, but they keep asking me to pay amount to keep my policy from lapsing and the money keeps going towards a loan. Now my agent is telling me I have to pay $186.60 in order to keep it from lapsing again. I've all ready paid $258.70 towards my policies. It's hard to get anyone on the phone and when you do they lie and say someone would call, and the call never comes. I'm a senior on a fixed income and I think its nothing but a scam.

On August 15th, 2024, our car was parked and hit by another driver, ripping off the front bumper. The other driver had Kemper Insurance. We filed a claim, were given an adjuster. The adjuster came back with an estimate that was FAR below (at least $1,000) than every other quote we received from mechanics. Kemper was then unresponsive for a month. Since then, they have been unreachable. The person who was in charge of our claim either quit or was fired without notifying us while we left message after message. We are now going through our insurance company to get it fixed, because it has been two months without our car. Now we will have to deal with an increase in premiums because of it.

I am writing to inquire about the status of my vehicle insurance claim #***********. My vehicle was declared a total loss in July, and I received a payoff from the insurance company. Approximately two months ago, I was informed that a check for the remaining amount, estimated to be between $6,000 and $8,000, would be mailed to my home address.Despite my repeated attempts to contact my adjuster, ****** *********, I have been unable to reach him. I have called customer service multiple times and left voicemails, but I have not received a response. The delay in receiving the payout has caused financial difficulties for me, as I had to pay for vehicle repairs and a rental car out of pocket. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that I receive the remaining amount due to me as soon as possible.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,**** ****.
