*** is conducting a bait and switch at their location at ******************************************************************************. I've always used this lot when visiting my family in ** and have never had issues until recently. Self Park Hourly rates are clearly posted at the entrance to the garage, but once inside, *** will charge you almost twice the amount advertised. *** charges per 24 hours, and being there for 4.5 days, I was expecting to pay $122 total ($25 per 24hrs + $22 per 12hrs). When I saw the charge come from *** that was twice the amount advertised, I thought "this is clearly a mistake". However, there was no living person ******* the garage to speak with, so I put it off and planned to contact *** or disput the charge after leaving Chicago and returning home. All in all, I ended up paying $210.35 for the 4.5 days I parked - almost $100 more than advertised. I've tried calling the *** Chicago customer service line, but the mailbox is completely full and no one ever picks up. I tried disputing the charges with my bank, but *** had the audacity to deny the dispute, saying I agreed to their pricing by paying the rate upfront, even though I was advertised a rate that was almost half what they charged me. They're conducting a bait and switch, luring in customers with one rate, than charging twice the amount. It's disgusting - they deserve punishment and I'm demanding that *** refund me the amount that they overcharged me.

We want to notify the customer that we are awarding them a refund in the disputed amount of $88.35.

      Thank you,
      Tessa

On Saturday, January 6th I entered the ******************** Parking garage approximately 2 pm. The ticket I pulled said 1:50 pm. I shopped at several stores, **************** Ulta, and ********* While at Ulta the cashier said her terminal was broken so the garage was free today and the gate will automatically open. There was no need to get my ticket stamped. Upon leaving the garage the attendant said it is not free and he does not deal with the stores. l said I understand, yet why is the cashier saying it's free and gate is broken? Attendant said the exit gate was broken but now its fixed, and the fee has nothing to do with entry gate? Totally confusing and rude. I paid the $11 yet want a refund for the misunderstanding of the broken gate issue and confusing rudeness of attendant. The only reason I paid is the attendant said corporate would issue a $75 fee and he is not opening the gate. I wasn't lying about the conversation of the associate at Ulta yet attendant was not believing. Communication is an issue. Why don't attendants know which stores have broken machines? So wrong....

Laz parking is a third party parking enforcement agency contracted by the city of Chicago. I have received multiple parking tickets, even though I have a permit. The city of Chicago confirmed I am using the permit correctly. I confronted the Laz parking attendant and he said that he didnt know what the parking pass was. As a contractor for the city, Laz parking must educate their parking enforcement agents. I have gotten multiple tickets due to their negligence. I now have to go to court for three tickets to resolve and dispute the charges due to their lack of fulfilling their contractual obligations.

On July 6th I parked at *************************** Chicago, IL I did not know that I needed to have a reservation or pay in advance. I pulled in the lot and was told to park in a spot and they took my keys. When I returned they told me I owed a $82 fine for not paying in advance. I told them I was calling the police and they told me if I paid for the parking the would remove the ticket. I agreed and paid $21.85 for parking. They did not forgive the ticket and I just received my second notice from a lawyer. I have attached the receipt that I paid for the parking. I have also attached the letter form their lawyer. This is fraud.

I received a parking violation notice from LAZ Parking Chicago this month (June 2023) via mail. I attempted to contact the email and phone number provided on the notice; however, I was unable to reach anyone. The email response stated that my email could not be delivered, and no one returned my call when I tried to reach them at multiple phone numbers. I am disputing the parking fee (violation #********) due to inaccurate records. The car listed (Chevrolet, Cruze) is not my car, nor is it my license plate shown in the picture. They inaccurately have my License plate # ******* listed when the license plate # on the car in the picture is AN85678. This error needs to be corrected and my information removed from this violation since I am evidently not liable for this parking fee.

On December 12th we parked in a lot across from a restaurant where we met friends who also parked there. It is called LAZ Parking. We were instructed to text them the following information: name, address, license plate number, drivers license number, phone, credit card number, and other bits of information which we did. Our friends did the same. It was supposed to be $6:00 for 4 hours which we were ok with. We then received a bill for non-payment of $60.00. We disputed this because we had thought we had paid it and agreed to pay the original amount. They refused and are requiring we pay the $60.00 which seems ridiculous. They sent it to a collection agency called LPR Appeals. The payment center phone is ************.

I paid for parking and have proof of payment and money was taken from my account. LAZ Parking is sending me threatening letters that I owe $80.00 for non-payment. I emailed proof of payment, and now they want an additional $35.00 because I did not follow their rules.I overpaid for parking to begin with, and I should NOT have to pay any more than I already have!

Towards the end of January 2021 I received a notice of a parking violation from LAZ Parking. I reached out to the business with the contact information that was on the letter I received because I don't believe our vehicle was in their lot on the day they claimed and I was looking for some clarification about the alleged incident. I was told by the person I spoke with (I'm in **************, but the number on the form directed me to a Chicago number) that *********** was a franchise and had other leadership and I'd have to follow up my inquiry with someone in that office. I was given a number to the office in *********** and I called it and left a message asking to be called back to get additional information. After I didn't receive a call back I sent a letter to the address listed on the violation for sending in payments. The letter was "returned to sender." Each month I get another letter from LAZ with an additional amount added (presumably some kind of late fee, but it doesn't say)

On Friday, the 14th of January I paid for self parking in Swissotel Chicago, ********. Somehow I entered the wrong date. I specifically remember entering today's (1-14-2022) date at 2:30. When I tried to park it wouldn't let me and that's when I realized the error. I called the customer service number only to get yelled at by a male representative. He said he can't help me that I need to call from a phone in the garage because they're connected and he doesn't know where I am. The problem was that I couldn't get into the garage because of the wrong dates (1-15-2022-1-18-2022) He didn't ask me where I was, my name, or for a confirmation number. I called back and explained the situation to a female representative. She asked for my confirmation number and said she couldn't modify my transaction. I asked if it could be cancelled and she stated no because I made the transaction at 2:17 and it was 2:48, that cancellations needed to be made 24 hours before. That I should just pay an early entrance fee. Our travel dates are the Jan *****th, why should I have to pay an extra day plus an early entrance fee? *************************

      The customer was refunded.

I was notified by my rental car company that I incurred a parking violation for no payment on 10/17/2021 at **** at 400 South Franklin ****** in Chicago. I rented a car that evening because my own vehicle, a **** ****** Land Cruiser, had broken down earlier in the day, and I needed a place to park my vehicle for several days before I could have it towed back to Milwaukee. It was in an unsafe condition to drive. My own vehicle that I parked there can be verified: a ****** Land Cruiser, ********* license plate ALP ****, with a SpotHero rental ID ******** and reservation that ran from 10/17/21 at **** to 10/21/21 at ****. As my wife was parking our own vehicle in the lot, I pulled in with the rental car so that we could transfer our personal items that we needed for the next couple of days from the Land Cruiser to the rental vehicle. After that was completed, we left for Milwaukee. As you can see from the citation photos, the car entered at **** and left at ****, 17 minutes total, for the reason described above. As we were not taking advantage of any "free parking" and did in fact pay for parking for our own vehicle, please cancel this parking violation and refund the $80 fine that Budget has paid.My supporting documents show: 1) Valid parking for my personal vehicle 2) One-way rental car from Chicago to Milwaukee 3) AAA website showing a service history for the Land Cruiser on 10/20/21 I appealed this decision but was told that it was a valid notice since it was private property and required payment at all times. As this incident occurred at ****, I was not taking any spot and was just transferring my own items from a legally parked car to my rental vehicle. It would not make sense to walk with all of my personal property from the car to the curb in the middle of the night in Chicago.
