    Although the location is safe and I never worried about maintenance, I had different issues with this apartment complex or should I say the management of it, Greystar.* I rented a "renovated" apt. The only renovation was to appliances and cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms. The bathroom toilets and showers/tubs were all damaged and old. Walls were painted over and there were cracks in the tub. Not easy to keep clean or maintain. Constantly grossed me out. In addition, they painted the walls with the cheapest pain. Don't accidentally rub a coat or anything up against the wall or you will mark it.* I requested an apt. with no carpeting due to my severe allergies. They offered to remove the carpeting (instead of offering a different apt) for an extra charge of $60 a month. They would not agree to remove the carpeting in the bedrooms. I agreed and suffered it out because of other issues and I could just no longer keep looking for an apt. After a 13 month lease and paying $780 more in rent, I thoroughly cleaned my apt. and moved out.*I now received my Move Out statement charging me another $680 to replace the carpeting. Stating for "pet stains and smells". I had one dog who had one accident. This happened early on in my stay. I cleaned it with my spot cleaner and the carpet cleaner came up filthy. It was black and you could tell it was never cleaned prior to my move in. The disgusting dirty water assured me they did not bother to clean it prior to me moving in. I left it with no stains or smells.So now, this apt gets a full flooring upgrade on my dime and Greystar continues to make a profit off my extra payment of $1,460. I spoke with a representative of ******** who was more than happy to listen and then blow me off. Would not write off any additional charges despite me disputing what they tried to charge me for. I don't recommend living here unless you are ok with making payments on upgrades to these apartments for this company to profit from.
