Had inspector plumber come to my home for shower fixture issue. There was a $60 service call. When they got there i mentioned kohler faucet, the UNION PLUMBER, said, "I never seen one i never seen or worked on one." But was quoted $1000 install for delta kit or $700 if i bought my own. Talk about upsell, cause i was in dire need getting one installed. Instead i spent $175 from **** ***** did it myself.

Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our service. After I read your review and listened to all the recorded conversations before and after we went over to your house and investigated your case, here is our explanation. Our plumbing products come from a local plumbing supplier that provides products with higher quality than those that are sold at the stores. They look the same but quality is not the same. That is why our price is higher. Also, our price is the same if it's an emergency or not so he was not trying to take advantage of the situation. I've also talked to the tech who went to your house. He meant he never worked on that "particular faucet" you had but, he didn't mean that he couldn't fix it. Since the faucet that you had was brand new and the part was in your kit, it could've been a defective part from the manufacturer. He suggested replacing it with new one instead of fixing it, otherwise, if he tried to repair it would have been waist of your time (the only store that had your part was 45 minutes away from your house ) and money. Our plumbers are all IL state licensed and they have to go by the IL state code which takes more work and time to get it right. I don't know how you installed it but if we did the work, we had to replace the line with copper (Pex moves and is unstable and possibly makes noise in the wall) and install air chamber to meet the IL State Plumbing code then install tub spout, shower arm, shower head, and etc.Listening to the recorded conversations with you and our office staff, my understanding is that we went out t o your house because you couldn't fix the leak and you worked all day on it and still it leaked but, after our tech suggested to replace the faucet and you did it yourself, it solved the problem, correct? I am glad to hear that you could fix it yourself to save money. If you still have questions or concern after you read our explanation above please contact us. We will gladly discuss and try our best to make you happy. Customer satisfaction is always our goal and motivation. Sincerely,Inspector Plumber
