On December 20, 2022, I placed an online order at the company's website for a game called Clank! A Deck-Building Game. I purchased the game in reliance on their advertisement the game was "in stock" while other websites advised the game was backordered. (TGG has since changed its website and the game now shows "backordered.") I needed the game for a gift by January 15, 2023, which was plenty of time. I paid a total of $73.18 (see receipt). After 2 weeks, I had not heard anything, even that my order had shipped. I contacted support (there is an email address only, no phone numbers) and their response was inadequate (see email string). But I was desperate so I continued waiting. Several days later, I was able to "cover" by purchasing the game elsewhere at a higher cost. I emailed The Gaming Goat Support again on 1/12/23 advising that they failed to deliver within a reasonable time and by my deadline, and my order needs to be cancelled and a full refund given. Support failed to respond at all. On 1/31/23, I emailed support again demanding my credit card be refunded the full amount within 3 days. Support responded claiming my order would still be delivered when the backordered game arrived, and "if" I needed to cancel the order (despite my 1/12 email where I already cancelled), I would only receive store credit. I would never again buy from this fraudulent company, so store credit is not acceptable!Not only did the company lie about the game being in stock when I ordered on 12/20/22, Support also lied (or was at least evasive with the truth) continuously, claiming the game "is still coming." I spoke with another gaming retailer on 1/14/23 who advised the Clank! game is out of print; thus, it will likely NEVER arrive and The Gaming Goat is simply stringing me along while they steal my money. I want a full refund of the $73.18 charged (not store credit). This store is a fraud and needs to be shut down.
