I presented myself to this establishment in May 2022 to talk with a periodontist about receding gums, as my family dentist suggested. I requested a consultation to see what the cost would be for gum grafting or repair. They requested my insurance info and ran the numbers and told me my cost would be $175 after the insurance paid their portion. At this price o agreed to let them do the procedure in July 2021. After procedure was completed, I was surprising told I needed to pay over $800. I questioned the amount and even inquired with my insurance to no avail. Advanced Dental would not return any of my calls or when I talked to them in person they would tell me someone would call me back. This went on for 8 months, getting no where and no one following up. Then I received a collections notice! This was very frustrating so I doubled up on my phone calls to them. I spoke to a ***** that said call *****, I called and left voicemail messages. Two months later someone finally called my back after a year of trying to get to the bottom of this and she said there is nothing they can do and if I had of made payments I would not be in collection. I asked her how can I be told my fee would be $175 and I get charged $800 be fair, I would not have done the procedure, she said there was nothing she could do. To make it even worse, the gum graft deteriorated and I am back to where I started, but have collections for $800. I want this bill reduced for their error during the consultation and not following up with me for a year!. I was misled and still have receding gums!!
