Alliance Repair was paid to repair my refrigerator by installing an new inlet valve. The inlet valve was not installed properly which caused a water leak to go undetected for 4-5 days. As a result, the hardwood flooring in my kitchen suffered water damage and caused the hardwood flooring planks to "cup" (curl upward). After waiting 45 days to see if the hardwood would settle back into the subfloor while using fans to dry it out, the floor needed to be repaired at a cost of $3,500 (estimate from original installer) to repair, sand and stain the floor with two coats of polyurethane. Additionally, incidental expenses associated with the repair total $1,065.00. Owner of the company ****** stated that he would take care of it, and that I should provide him with the estimate as such. After sending him the estimates per his request to him via email, I did not hear back for 5 days. I reached out to ****** direct and his story now was that it was going to cost him too much to repair the damage that he assumed responsibility and was liable for. He refuses to return my calls, and will not provide me with the name of his insurance carrier that I have a right to file a claim with as a consumer in the State of *********** am seeking payment for damages totaling $4,565.00.
