Working with this company has been an absolute nightmare. Our collaboration with ************, aka *****, began on July 24th, 2023. Initially, we contracted him to remodel our hall bathroom, which had a leaky patch affecting our kitchen ceiling. From the start, there was a constant struggle to obtain the right products as he often pushed for cheap supplies that we did not agree with. Going to Kitchen works...One of the most frustrating aspects of dealing with this company is their complete lack of a structured payment plan and walk through of work before payment due. They also never provide samples of the expensive items they claim to use. ****** and his team are unpredictable, showing up at any day or time without notice, or bombarding us with emails and messages demanding payment. If the contract payment isn't due, ****** resorts to threats, claiming his contractors won't show up for work or will pull their materials from the site, leaving us in a bind. He even went as far as involving the police, who showed up at our door, creating a terrifying and humiliating scene. On top of that, he sent court orders, threatening to sue ******* immoral values, he shows no respect for homeowners' concerns or wishes and is solely focused on his profit. He never provided samples of the expensive products, like countertops, and made us deal with his bonded suppliers. When we finally chose something, he would claim it wasn't covered and demand an exorbitant amount, often double the original quote. If we attempted to get the same materials from other suppliers, he would refuse to do the work, clearly trying to force us into paying more.We are thoroughly disappointed, disgusted, and frustrated with the appalling level of customer service and the complete lack of consumer protection offered by this company. I cannot, under any circumstances, recommend this company, especially its owner, ************ aka *****. The BBB should take action against his unethical business practices.
