      Seal broken on 3 windows. Feldco wants $504 to fix. My understanding is the windows had a lifetime warranty. They also tell me that the manufacture of my windows no longer makes windows for Feldco, that is why they are charging me $504.

      We have reached out to the customer multiple times over the past couple weeks by phone and email in attempt to offer to resolve the issue, but have been unable to reach the customer. If the customer could call back in and ask for the Operations Manager, or reply to his email, we are happy to work through the issue with him.

      I called feldco for roof repair and was told they only install new roofs. I agreed to an estimate. After **** came for an estimate he reported one price. I received financing that day through ***** Fargo and signed the contract for ******. The salesman then called back AFTER the financing contract and said more money needed to be added to the contract. I agreed to an additional $1300 be added on to my contract because Feldco then told me a problem became apparent but he didnt notice beforehand. It was a little frustrating but finally they came to repair my roof. As soon as they repaired the roof ****, the initial sales representative, called and said an additional $2300 would be needed for additional wood that needed to be replaced, and to sign the paperwork to Indicate I was pleased with the completion of the roof installation. There were workers that did not speak English and did not do a professional job. If I did not get this call from Feldco AFTER the job was completed asking me for more money, I would have signed the paperwork. It has not been 30 days and the shingles are flying upwards, my ceiling is turning brown from rain due to their lack of performing a professional and proper installation. Feldco indicated I needed new wood and replaced the old wood, but Ive seen pictures of the wood taken out. I asked him to show me the pictures of the wood replacements but he says he does not have any pictures of the wood that was replaced. This company is not working for the customer but to steal money. Ive spoken to many people over this issue, one who threatened to report me unless I sign off on the contract. I refuse to lie and say Im pleased with this installation which is causing more damage to my home.

      Operations Manager spent multiple hours with the customer to go over their complaints. Additional $1,300 was added to the contract prior to the install to add siding that needed to be repaired to install the roof properly. Customer agreed to the change in advance of the install and signed a contract addendum, but has not signed the increase to the financing for it. During the installation, it was found that additional wood needed to be replaced. Per the terms of the contract, this is automatically added to the balance due. Feldco offered to discount it and eventually agreed to waive the fee for customer delight. We have pictures of the wood removed. If the wood was not replaced, there would be nothing to install the shingle to and there would be a hole, which there is not. This can also be verified from the attic, but customer refused to let us in the attic to take pictures for her. There are no shingles flying upwards, that is a deck air vent installed for intake attic ventilation, and is by design for warranty purposes. Everything has been inspected and is installed properly and there are no active leaks with the roof since its installation. There are zero issues with the installation itself. Customer has a gutter clogged with leaves, unrelated to the roof installation that Feldco has offered to alleviate for the customer at no additional charge, but customer did not want us to do so.

      *****, a representative of feldco, came to my home May 29, 2024, to inspect my complaints. He said the problem was my gutters were NOW leaking after the new shingles were installed, and was the result of leaves in my gutter. However, he showed me pictures of my gutter before the work was done, and his picture indicated the gutter has been damaged/dented which now results in a downpour every time it rains. He also indicated that the brown spots that are now becoming more evident as it rains, is also a result of my gutter having numerous holes in them from the flashing being removed. (See photo) This destruction of my gutters and the several holes causing water damage, was a result of poorly, unprofessional workmanship done by Feldco when the roofing was installed. However, I am being blamed for leaves being the cause. Additionally, the shingles that are now coming apart and flying upwards in several different places, is a result of them needing to be dried by the sun, and takes time to become adhesive is what I was told. My assumption is the plastic planks he showed that were used and not wood, see picture) which was used in the roofing process. I asked again why  Feldco did NOT inform me of wood removal WITHOUT informing me firsthand. He said that was a mistake but reassured me that the wood was replaced but I have not seen evidence of new replaced wood, even the new wood (3 planks) which I agreed to in the sales agreement. If he was able to take multiple pictures of the wood being removed, why wasnt the same effort applied when replacing the wood, IF it was replaced? He said I was not charged for the extra wood, that I did not ask to be removed/replaced without my permission. He insisted coming into my home to show me in my attic that the wood was replaced. I rejected this offer, because 1, he cannot fit into my attic and 2, my attic is not accessible in any form or shape to accommodate his presumption that wood was able to be seen in my attic. He said he would install a new gutter due to clogging of leaves, and replace the holes that are NOW in my gutter,  but ONLY if I signed the paperwork before he did any repairs to their workmanship errors. This company is not professionally run, has an F rating, and  prey on the elderly (in my case). I do not accept their offer of signing off on their poorly performed installation of a $17,000 roof, that is now causing water damage to my ceiling on the inside interior of my home. It has not been 45 days and these problems have occurred. The fact Feldco wont even admit the dented gutter which has been pulled from my house with multiple holes in the gutter now, which he admitted has happened, but will not take accountability says a lot about this company, coupled with the fact they will only replace the gutter AFTER I sign off is not a feasible resolution. My suggestion was to give me a week, until June 5, 2024, to talk to my family about what has occurred as I must find someone to help me. However, as evidenced in their response, two days after their visit, they did not wait for my response.       The roof was installed per manufacturer's guidelines. There is no evidence of poor workmanship on the roof. The issues she is complaining of are unrelated to Feldco's install of the roof. The downspout in question had a leak issue prior to Feldco touching it. There is photo evidence of that. Feldco did not cause the downspout to leak. The gutters and downspouts were not in the scope of Feldco's contract, only the roof was. Feldco has offered to replace the downspout at no charge for customer delight, but customer has refused to sign anything to allow us to do so. Rotted wood was removed from the roof decking replaced at no charge. It would be physically impossible to install the roof without the decking being replaced after the rotted portion was cut out. The quality of their roof installation was made better for no extra cost to them. We are happy to take photos to prove that to them, but they have refused multiple people the access to do so. The brown spots on the ceiling were from a pre-existing leak prior to our installation. Since our install, there is no evidence of an active leak on the roof. Feldco stands behind the quality of the installation and completion of their contract, has attempted multiple times to rectify the unrelated issues to try to delight the customer, but they have been uncooperative with our attempts to do so.

      The poor workmanship is evident in the pictures. 1.) The dented gutter which now causes a waterfall whenever it rains. I would expect Feldco to fix this as it was their fault the dent took place after they finished, as evidenced in their picture taken 4/4/24 which indicates no dent. 2.) **** was removed without my knowledge and replaced with plastic, that is my presumption if no picture was taken of the supposedly replaced wood. Again, my attic is not accessible, so Im not sure why that is continually being asked?? A professional would take pictures of their completed project. 3.) ***** told me himself that there are holes on the gutter/roof which has caused the brown spots on my ceiling. 

      Additionally, the pictures are not able to be uploaded to this site of the holes ***** took,  or the pictures of the plastic planks that he brought to show what was used to replace the wood.

      Two months ago, I paid a $389 deposit for a door plus installation. Twice, the installation was canceled, and installers finally arrived, stating the specifications for the installation could not be satisfied. Fledco claims my deposit is nonrefundable and refuses to refund it.

      I was not advised initially of any cancellation policy from sales verbally or in writing.  I would like to see a copy of the contract I signed indicating that I would forfeit my deposit in the case of cancellation.  The reason for cancellation was due to the Feldco installation person upon arrival for installation indicating the job couldn't be completed as prescribed therefore I proceeded to find an alternate installation based upon this evaluation.

      Cancellation language is in the terms and conditions of the contract signed at the point of sale. Sales Manager spoke with customer again about this and provided him a copy of the contract with that particular language highlighted. Feldco has provided a solution to the customer saving him a significant amount of money than he is contractually obligated to pay for cancelling his contract with Feldco at the time that he did.

      The Feldco website offers free estimates and invites you to select an appointment time. I entered all the information including address, phone, product I was interested in and the date/time I wished to reserve. The button you must click even says confirm your appointment. They call you serval times after it. I picked it up one of the many times and answered the same questions I answered on the form. When the time came, no one showed up. They wasted my time. When I spoke to them they said they didnt have a profile for me. How can that be after entering all the info? They refuse to set up another appointment. They are not a business of equal accommodation.

      The information entered online did not transfer to our internal appointment system as intended. It seems there was a glitch in the system. This is why we have called multiple times to correct it. The information was not confirmed with him prior to the appointment time he was hoping for. We have called since then to try to rectify the situation and get him back on the schedule but have been unable to do so. Our Customer Experience Manager has reached out directly multiple times over the past 2 weeks but has not had his call returned. We would love to opportunity to give ************ an estimate if he is still interested and apologize for the issues he experienced scheduling his appointment, they are not the norm.

      I had windows put in by feldco. The vinyl siding has a slit in it. The slit is so large I can stick my fingers in it. **** the Rep for feldco lied to me first of all.**** told me I would be able to get my air conditioner back in the window. The window unit doesn't fit Now. **** told me he would also have dark Tinted windows That didn't happen. I called feldco they came out and said we only go up to 10 feet on the vinyl. Feldco said I had 12 feet and that's the reason for the split. I would like to at least go the split fixed. The split is so large it looks unprofessional. I paid **** good money for service I didn't get done Right. I will go as far a court If we cant come to a solution. I told feldco If I can get somebody to come out and fix the problem can you refund me some of the money I paid. Feldco told me me NO they wouldn't refund me the money.

      So this started all in November 2023 we contacted them regarding a replacement window estimate and we were given a price for a broken picture window, so we decided that we would go with Feldco because it's a reputable place only to be VERY disappointed. So we had our picture window replaced the 1st window replacement happened on January 11, 2024 which unfortunately that window had bowed sticks and wasn't what we ordered at all, this company also was sent a picture of what our previous window looked like we were told that this window had to have this window specially made for us, so they had to remove this window as it was incorrect so we had to wait again for another 5-6 weeks until the new window came in with the correct sticks in it, but unfortunately this window that was installed on February 28, 2024 was incorrect also it had a textured film on it for a big picture window, for like a bathroom window so nobody looks in well this clearly isn't what we wanted or even asked for. I want to be able to look outside my picture window that's what those are for but now on April 15, 2024 they are suppose to install hopefully the 3rd window and I am hoping this is the correct window and nothing is wrong with it, and of course this window was paid in full in November 2023 and it's now 5 months later and I am still dealing with my picture window not being correct, I want to be compensated in full for this if I cant' be compensated the full amount I paid then I want at least 1/2 of my money back, I feel that I deserve this as this is clearly the 3rd time in 5 months they are coming out to install a picture window that they were given pictures of what it looked like prior to them ordering the window. They have no quality control as to what is being done and that is so UNPROFESSIONAL in every way. If I have to upload supporting picture to my claim then I will do that.

      I I purchased the window from feldco and pay in full for the window however, when time came for them to deliver they kept giving me setbacks such as the window is not on the truck or they have to wait for the manufacturer to send the window etc.. I never end up receiving the window at all. I made the purchase back in September 2023 and its April 2024 still no window, and they refuse to return my money.

      When I originally contacted for a replacement front exterior door I requested that our newer storm door was to be reinstalled. Verbal agreement was given by the sales representative but I requested that it say so in the contract. It was written in but when I received the contract I didnt notice that it was not there. This omission caused a problem when the installer attempted the reinstall because the storm door was too small for the new opening. I had to purchase a new door for safety, cost an additional $1000 dollars. The sales rep kept requesting that I sign a new contract so that a refund could be issued for the cost of reinstalling the storm door. I did not. All doors are in but I have requested and not received an itemized receipt for the cost of 2 (two) doors and each part which includes sidelights, lock set, etc. This total sale was almost $11,000. Generating a receipt should not be a problem. Five months later and promises ** still waiting. Dealing with this company and their reps is a problem but my records need to be complete.

      I had 12 windows replaced. Four of the double hung windows have a buildup of ice on the inside of the frame, When the upper window is pulled down to see why moister is dripping down the outside of the widow, the inside frame is full of ice. Reported this immediately December 2023after installation, they sent out people to check, gave me extended warranty to check winter of 2023, as of today no resolve~! I demanded replacement and nothing as of today. I had a slide by actually whistling in high winds, this they will change ti a double hung. What are my options in this matter to resolve the four double hung windows? I have many pictures of the ice and moisture, as well as they were here may times and saw it as well. These are in bedrooms, their reason to me was I had high humidity, The high humidity rooms as the bathroom, washer and dryer room and kitchen have no issue with ice buildup. It has to be around 20 degrees or lower for this to happen. I keep getting excuses that it is all out fault. Plants in the house, c-pap machine running, furnace air deflector in use and high humidity, bad door seal in another room. Problem is its these four windows are the only ones doing this.       I am rejecting this response because: They have only settled on replacing the large slide side by side window with double hung windows. This window was leaking cold air in and would actually make a whistling noise in a higher wind. See attachment.

      The other four double hung windows that leak at the top enough for it to create moisture in the inside of the window frames. In lower temps, this turns to ice to a point that I could not even open the window to check! I continue to send pictures of this, see attachments below. as well as have them come out to inspect. They have seen the ice and moisture but yet, tell me it is my fault for having 30% humidity in the house, I tell them so why it is only on these four windows and not the other sever they installed. Plus, there is no moisture on the inside of the windows or no moisture in the restroom, kitchen or laundry room, areas of higher humidity when in use. I received an extended warranty through this winter and am afraid if they do not replace them now, they will never do it and I will be stuck with faulty windows and cost me more money again down the road. I have had a dehumidifier running constantly and aimed the furnace deflector towards the windows to try and pacify them, all in doing this and it doesn't change the result, I still get moisture and then ice in the window frames. I first notices this when I saw water running dripping down the outside of the window last winter. I opened the top of the window, and it was all ice, then the sun warmed up the window and was melting the ice with the water dripping down the outside of the top window..

      An inspection is scheduled for the morning of 2/28/2024 to inspect and record the conditions of the other windows to determine if it is general condensation (which is normal at certain times of the year depending on the air temperature, humidity, and surface temperature mix) or if it is a defect of the window.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      They have scheduled a time to come out again to view the four windows in question. This needed to be a day when the temperatures were cold enough to turn the moisture inside the window frames to ice. There are only a few days left to get this done. This Wednesday and Thursday look like about it for the near future! They have been here multiple time and have seen the moisture and ice inside the frames and the moisture running down on the OUTSIDE of the top windows. I have no issue on the inside of the windows or the seven other double hung windows they installed, of which three are in higher humidity at times areas. Kitchen, washroom and laundry room. I am worried there will be no warranty on these problem windows. and these not replaced.
      Sincerely, This upcoming visit will tell what will happen. noted to them to come at 9am due to my wife dealing with a serious medical issue.
