My father passed away in October when we called about the head stone being we were given all the usual excuses that every company is using now, supply chain issues, material shortage .At the time, **** who I believe is the office manager assured me that although there are delays we would have something placed in time for Fathers Day. Mid-May hits and I call and have a productive conversation with ****. **** says Mid-May hits and I call and have a productive conversation with ****. **** says he just saw that my fathers headstone was all set and ready for placement. He said that it was in line to do so and that it should be placed by that Sunday or the week after. He said once it was set that he would call and email me to confirm.Well today I had a very unproductive unprofessional call with ****. **** essentially acted like he didnt recall a thing we had discussed in February and May (literally two and a half weeks ago). He stated at no point would we ever have had assured me of placement like he said he did. He once again threw out all the usual excuses but added a new wrinkle which was the head ***************** is now on two weeks vacation so nothing would be placed for two weeks. He couldnt tell me if my fathers headstone was placed and again acted bewildered and astonished that I would question what is happening because as he put it weve had families waiting over a year to have their headstones done placed. The fact that he divulged such a lack of progress on things and that one could obviously tell this cemetery is not managed by competent individuals is astounding. **** stated that one person retired and other people dont know how to set stones straight and that I wouldnt want that to be the case. I asked why more preparations werent taken from a *************** standpoint in preparing for a backlog and planning both in the short and long term, this is management 101. I also said that they didnt give us a year to make the 18k payment to provide services
