This is a duplicate complaint as stated in the message. Almost everything in the complaint is incorrect.
Customer hired a public adjuster to handle their insurance claim. The public Adjusting firm got them approved for new siding. We met with the client to negotiate the work. The customer chose to use the insurance money to get their roof done instead of their siding,
Customer signed a contract with us for roof replacement, gutter replacement, and to change some drop ceiling panels on the interior. We performed the roof install, at which it was found that she needed a lot of decking replaced. When we billed the client for the additional costs, she refused to pay. We still installed the gutters as well even though the customer does not have fascia properly framed as they insisted that we still improperly mount gutters to the roof. We then canceled the interior to cover for the additional roof costs.
If the customer pays for the additional roof costs, then we would perform the interior work. The customer made it clear they weren't paying anything extra and had been actually trying to get money back the entire time.
Once job was complete, the customer made several faulty claims with the building department regarding dirty siding, back porch stairs and flashing. All of these complaints have been taken care of with the city as we provided documentation and photos showing these were not problems. We had proof that the porch stairs were already damaged, yet we still repaired the stairs for free.
We offered to power wash the house, even though the majority of siding dirtiness is non-roof related. When we arrived to power wash, they did not have adequate water pressure. We tried using the neighbors, but they had the same issue.
The customer has never paid any percentage of their claim to us or the public adjuster. All of the insurance funds were used towards their roof and gutters. We have all documentation, contracts, notes, call logs, and text messages that reveal the truth about what happened. We have tried to be reasonable and do extra things to resolve the situation, but we are not sure of a resolution.
It seems that the customer wants money back or wants us to perform interior work without paying for the extra costs of the roof.
