Only portions of the house was to be included representing a sf of 1821. The project list listed 23 squares of siding, despite contract indicating 22 squares. Discrepancy was identified as a miscalculation. The sf of 2144would call for less than 18 squares of siding. The actual sf being done required less than 16 sf (15.175)An independent measurement revealed maximum siding required would be 16 squares.The final bill listed 22 squares of siding.Other discrepancies include being charged for original siding being removed which was not done but was billed for. A refund was initially declined but subsequently offered, however the amount was going to be reduced under premise of covering cost of additional siding from the amount due for refund. (The additional siding being referenced was not required or supplied)Labor charge was submitted for the siding job was ******* including 300 fee for repair of original job issues. Labor fee was explained as being built into original contract which had an error of 20% overcharge. By extension labor should have been reduced accordingly.Refund was offered for overcharge of siding in amount of 3000 but no concession was offered for the overcharge in labor as well as fee for original siding.Salesperson advised crew involved with installation were not subcontractors which turned out to be the case. The premise of direct employees was significant predication for entering into contract.
