Lighthouse is the most toxic work environment I have ever been a part of. Youre supposed to get a seven minute break but you dont actually ever get to take those breaks. You have to call for someone to come watch your kids multiple times on a walkie-talkie, but nobody ever comes just so you can go to the bathroom . So try not to drink much or stay hydrated throughout the day because youre not gonna be able to go to the bathroom. You are doing one on one therapy with the child the entire day, and the PMs only come out of the office for photo ops, and if the regional manager is there. They manage to be able to get Crumbl cookies and ********* delivered whenever they want for themselves but weve had to go weeks without toilet paper or paper towels. They say that they have fresh fruit available for the staff, but its always moldy and covered in gnats. Our center is the most disgusting center. The moment you walk in, it smells like urine and mildew. The worst part about working there is how much they try to cover up accidents that happen with the children. There was a kiddo who fell and got hurt, and they allowed him to sleep until his parent got there, and then in order to wake him up, they had to splash coldwater on his face and started shaking him, even though he clearly had a concussion but they didnt want to try to keep him awake even though he is not the type of kiddo that ever falls asleep. As an ***, youre not allowed to talk to the parents or discuss true events that took place during that day. The *** whos in charge of the whole Center has a maturity level of a toddler.
