Here is a little information about my experience buying a new Diamond table from *********************** also known as ************************** If I had known then, what I know now, I would have purchased it directly from Diamond. I paid $6200 for the table, $750 for delivery and setup and another $150 for a set of Aramith Premium ***** that he would need to ship to me (We will get to this later). Money transfer was swift and clean. Handled through wire transfer between the two banks. That was on a Thursday, delivery and setup was set for Saturday. The guys did arrive on Saturday to deliver it. The first real negative was that they were in one of those tiny "city" delivery vans. They had completely disassembled the table so that it would fit in the van. As they began moving the pieces into my ******** was concerned as I know they leave the Diamond factory assembled. When they started to move the slate in, they tried to lean it against the dividing pillar between the two overhead doors of my garage. Had I not been standing where I was, it would have hit the ground as they didn't have it balanced and it fell. I caught it. As they reassembled it with their drill with driver bits, I could hear the bit slipping and stripping the heads of the screws. I hope I never have to try to take it apart as I doubt it will, without drilling out the screws. When they got it assemble, they broke out their trusty torpedo level. (Anyone that knows anything about tables knows you cannot level them with a torpedo level as they are not accurate enough.) The table was not level. They only adjusted 2 of the internal leveling wedges and the legs claiming that was all that was needed. They looked through medications in my bathroom. I ended up doing the actual setup after they left. Good thing I am familiar with working on pool tables. There is more to tell, I just ran out of characters in the review process.
