      As a customer of **********************, I've had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with their service and customer support. From the very beginning, my journey with TDS has been plagued with issues and poor treatment.The first two months of my service were a complete disaster. I was left without functioning connections despite paying for internet and phone services. Repeated calls to their technical support yielded no results, and I was essentially paying for a service I couldn't use.Regarding customer service, ********************** sets a new low bar. Their representatives are often unhelpful and lack basic empathy. It's rare to receive even a simple acknowledgment of the inconvenience or frustration caused by their service failures. The ***** contrast between their indifference and the customer-centric approach of other companies is truly ************ of the most infuriating aspects of dealing with TDS is their inflexibility. They have a rigid "once-a-year" policy for making adjustments or accommodations, regardless of the circumstances. If you're struggling to pay your bill or experiencing service issues, don't expect leniency or understanding. They'll quickly move to disconnect your service without hesitation.Having previously been a Comcast customer, I thought I had experienced poor service before. However, TDS Telecom has managed to surpass even those low expectations. Their level of customer disregard is truly in a league of its own.The treatment I've received from *** has been so abysmal that I feel compelled to warn others about my experience. No company should treat its customers with such blatant disrespect and indifference. If you have any other options available, I strongly advise against choosing TDS Telecom for your communication needs. Feel free to let me know if you need any further adjustments!

      TDS is misleading about fiber internet when I signed up for internet, I told them I didn't want fiber phone, I made clear to them I didn't want to lose my land line for my phone especially when the power would go out and they assured me that my landline phone would remain usable when the power would go out. I went over this several times even with the tech that came to my house to install the fiber internet. when we had a power outage, we lost ************ to the landline. I had no phone to call for support. when I addressed this with them after the power was fully restored in my area, they finally informed me that the landline wouldn't work through the fiber when the power is out, and that there is nothing they could do beside revert back to my old internet (DSL) and then I was told that eventually our whole area would change to fiber internet. anyway. I ended up having to purchase a small generator to run my landline when the power is out.

      Absolutely terrible service! Internet would lag and we had the highest available mbps package they offered. I was also enrolled in autopay and they were charging me late fees each month which made my bills incredibly high. I called multiple times to address the issue and get it fixed with promises that it was. It never did. Every time I called the representatives gave me contradicting information. I finally cancelled our service and switched to a different service provider. Will never go back or recommend their service!
