Mccrite Memory Care is NOT the way to go if you are looking for a safe caring place for your loved one My husband has Early Onset Alzheimer's. He needs a lot of help doing with everything at his stage. This did not happen. There are good people that work there but there are a lot that do not care. Many employees , treated unfairly. , do several shifts in a row (12 hr shifts) because they do not have the staff. So like I said no one knows what is going on shift to shift. My husband was not given the care I was told he would get and they still took my money. LOTS of $$ I was told my husband would get the best care. I asked all the questions and after a month there all went downhill. He was there for about 74 day. It got so bad that I had to write to them and get my husband out because I was so worried about leaving him there overnight. I have seen Staff that argue with residents and upset all. Staff sleeping. Laundry not getting done and rooms stink. Staff that do not know what they are doing and do not know what is going on. LOTS more bad things to tell In my opinion this place want is money. I held up our part of the contract and they took all our money even though my husband was not even there for a month they charged us for. The contract said they would take care of my husband & they did not do all they said. To me they broke their promise & lease. They need to pay be for work NOT done & promises NOT kept mccrite son seems to be in charge. I honored the contract with them & paid $8,069 for the month 8-2024. I took Dave out on 8-6-24. They took the $8,069 and billed me for 6 days of 9/2024. My husband was not even there and of course I had to pay for the new place.. The owner will not even talk to me or respond by email. They just want $$ I have gone to the proper authorities and so far no one can help. I just want the world to know they are not the place to bring a loved one for care I have so much more I want to say I put this pm Yelp and their FB page.
