Mailed books back to this company for a quoted return of $130. After books are checked in, they then tell you that you can expect payment within 3-5 WEEKS...! Absolutely no reason it should take that long. When you try to contact customer support via chat, they end chat abruptly when you ask for a supervisor to contact. The next one said 1-2 days for a call back from a supervisor. 3 days later, still no call. Most recent contact was to try and get address and location for BBB complaint and that person wouldn't assist with that either.Business response

I purchased a book on November 30th that ecampus.com (biggerbooks.com) was advertising that they had and that it would arrive before Christmas. My card was charged and I waited. I received no communication in the next two weeks, so returned to my account to see if there had been any updates to my order. It indicates my order is still processing and being prepared for shipment. I sent them a message asking if they had an estimated timeline; I was hoping to have this for a Christmas present. I still have had no communication with anyone about when I could receive any sort of update. I want the company to deliver on the book they were advertising they had in stock. At this point, I have passed up two other deals in which I could have purchased it so if I have to go elsewhere, they have effectively ruined Christmas and cost me an additional $100 (by having passed the other two deals I had found.)Business response

We are happy to refund the order or to continue holding the order in place. We are unable to provide a clear expectation of when the item will be available. The website needs to make it more clear if they have titles in stock, and should not be allowed to charge shoppers for out-of-stock items. Reading through other complaints, this is a common issue for this business.
