            I received and paid a invoice on august 12, 2023 for services rendered in February of the same year to Lane Regional Memorial Hospital. consequently, I started receiving annoying calls from a debt collection agency in January 2024. I have contacted LMRC twice in the past 2 months to resolve this issue of non payment. Both of the employees that I spoke to referred me to a email to send my complaint to. After 2 emails, I have not received a response and am still fighting to resolve this issue.

            This hospital Emergency Room policies are a scam. We made sure the hospital was an in- Network facility and sure enough it was. Months later after extremely slow billing we received separate bill from the "East Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Physicians Group" for over $1500. They stated that although the facility is in network the on staff doctor who saw our children was out-of-network so we had not met our deductible therefore for less than 15 minutes of the doctors time we owed $1500. I tried negotiating and nothing came of it. Have tried repeatedly to reach out to billing to negotiate and they refuse and their billing department never calls back. ***** ******
