    Deceptive - we brought our year old mini golden doodle to this establishment. Told that we could buy a 10 pack package (pre-pay) for two full day (6am-6pm) visits per week - 5 weeks($370 or $37 per visit). They also tell you that they do a FREE day long temperament test to see if the place is a good fit for your dog.When we dropped him off for his Free Day, we were told to come back and get him in 2 hours? We picked him up, told us there were no real issues, that we could start his visits on Friday (two days later). We dropped him two days later at 8am - expecting to leave him there until about 3:30-4pm. Received a call around 10am that we needed to get him by noon. When we picked him up, the owner told us he wasn't ready for a full day, that she would only charge us for 1/2 of the day and we should only do 1/2 days until he the dog acclimated. We did this for the next three visits and on the third visit, she told us that she felt the dog was to "frenetic" and that he needed more training before he could come back. She suggested a family member of hers for the training. She told me she would refund the package price ($370 - $37 per visit)) and only charge me for the 4 1/2 days.I was surprised to see an additional charge of $140 - before she even submitted my $370 refund for the package. When I asked about the $140 - she told me she meant to charge me $30 for the 1/2 day (my package that was pre-paid was $37/day????) and she accidently charged me for the full day rate -$40 (the full day rate of when you don't have a package).First, I did already pay for the $37/per day package. Second, if she was charging me for the full rate accidently, that would have been $160 - not $140???? Thirdly, the $40 rate anywhere on her website.In conclusion - she is practicing deceptive pricing and offers. If they couldn't handle my dog, she should have informed us after the first day. She just wanted to get some money out of me. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!That day

    *****, I'm sorry that you feel this way. I always put the dog's needs & comfort ahead of profits, so that is why I turned your dog away. He was very anxious & that is why I asked you to pick him up early. I didn't want to stress him out. I tried a few times to see if I could make progress with him, but ultimately found our environment was too much for such an anxious dog. That is why I recommended training.

    In regards to the billing problem. Yes, I made a mistake & meant to charge you for half day rate after you had purchased the full day package. I charged you for the 4 half days the same day I issued your refund for the 10 pack. Credit card processes purchases immediately & refunds take a few days. That is beyond my control & pretty much standard wherever you go. So complaining the credit card company didn't send you your money right away isn't a fair or legitimate complaint. And saying I wanted to get "some money out of you" by trying to see if I could work your dog into daycare rather than giving up on day 1 isn't very fair either. I suppose you'd have rathered I just gave up on the first day? That's not me. I have gotten many dogs past their initial first day anxiety. I'm sorry yours wasn't one of them. This review is very unfair. My only mistake was charging you an extra $5 (x4) by accident, which you did receive the refund for.
