went to fun city in Springfield ma 9/7 between 1:30-4. I walked by the gate because for parties we typically do that. A security guard gets an attitude and starts yelling. So i asked him for directions to check in and he points. So i say “thats all you have to say” Later me and my friend got into a heated disagreement. We were really loud so a staff member asked us to quiet down we apologized and talked in a regular tone. After that the security comes. He tells us we need to quiet down. So we said that we understand thats why we did quiet down. So he walked away. In which I said “have a good day”. He turns around walks in my face with his hand on his belt buckle like he was clinching a gun and goes “you had an attitude since you got here. If you want i can just kick you out”. After that he walked away. My friend broke down crying because she thought he really had a gun. On my way out I grab my stuff and tell my party that im about to complain about the security guard. Other guests at the party also stated how he was aggressive towards them and if “he put down his phone and took out his airpods maybe he wouldnt be so hostile. So i proceeded to leave and ask him whats his employers name, his rental cop badge number, and his name. He told me his manager was right there and that i could speak to him. The security guard was out of the facility holding the door but me and his manager were talking. As i was telling the manager my experience the security walks in my face clutching his waist and had his hands in my face. At that point my whole party got up. The manager of fun city was standing there, said nothing. My friends mom went to deescalate the situation. I plan to follow up with a police report. No reason my kids should witness their mom in fight or flight because an employee is so aggressive. Literally turning around and walking in my face.
