              I went into urgent care on 1/11/22 to get retested for covid, but the provider refuse to retest me for Covid. She said "we don't retest for covid if you were positive , unless your job requires it". So I said " let me call my Boss and see, at that time the provider walked out the room. The provider returned and informed her my job didn't require a retest and said "since that's all I came for and you aren't doing it I'm going to leave", she (the provider said okay and walked out the room. So I received my explanation of benefits and the provider billed my insurance company for a "follow up of mange care as an established patient" which was a lie. Then she diagnosed me with having diabetes because of one of my medications. Bottomline, she didn't treat me for what I went to the office, nor did she give me a Covid test, nor did she exam me. The Medical Assistant asked me about my meds before I entered the exam room and I told the Medical Assistant my meds, so the provider "assumed"my medical conditions and lied about it in her office note which she stated I was a follow from November, which is also a lie. And everyone at Medstar Urgent is refusing to call me back or talk to my insurance company about this matter

              Receptionist at front Desk was VERY rude! Not only were we not greeted and walked right up to the window after throwing up all day and being weak, but instead of being greeted and helped. We were directed to a sign in iPad. Meanwhile as we were signing in another patient came in and was greeted and also id was taken for them to sign that customer in. Then we were told we couldn’t be seen because insurance. I’m a Maryland Medicaid patient by the way.. This location is very unprofessional. The nurses care so much but the front desk staff ruins any chance for referring this business to anyone else. Sadly enough my sister works for MedStar also. We will be following up for the discrimination we received in a time of need. Thanks for nothing MedStar at Arundel Mills.
