              In November 2023 the anesthesiologist did not proceed with a bladder procedure for me because he said it was too much of a risk. Well Chesapeake Urology charged me $1785 and is continously billing me and messing up my credit. They know that they owe me money that was put on a Carecredit charge account. I am being billed for a procedure I didn't have. I have called 5 times and I have left messages. How does someone for a procedure that never took place and threatens to put a derogatory mark on my credit report. Please help me get my money back and correct my credit report. Is this fraud? They will not return my calls or reimburse me my money. PLEASE HELP, should I get an attorney?

              Chesapeake Urology contracts with Care Harmony, a health consultant service, to solicit Chesapeake's urology patients for Care Harmony's services. Care Harmony seems to specialize in providing some type of check-in service in order to bill Medicare, and you... Chesapeake Urology does the billing so obviously they are getting a commission on the 'consultant service'.. I received a number of calls from someone who represented themselves to be from Chesapeake Urology regarding some kind of health checkup service – that frankly I didn’t need. However, I was told the service was free so I thought it was a service provided by Chesapeake Urology to their patients and said OK. I never signed anything nor agreed to any kind of service that would cost me, or Medicare, anything. This is a **** and a fraud - do not fall for this scheme. This business scheme utilizes a well-known provider to 'legitimize' a disreputable one. It also gives a very good indication of the ethics of the well-known provider.
