TAUNTS DISABLED CUSTOMERS: VandenBout's seasonal plowing contract states "15 plowings per season. This includes clearing drive approaches after heavy accumulation when plugged by city plows." yet THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THIS. After multiple January snowstorms (the only storms of the season), I had to floor my regular-height car through my plugged driveway so I wouldn't get stuck as I bottomed out in the thick snow, ice, and slush. I called multiple times to request they come plow me out, but they never answered the phone, the voice mailbox was constantly full, and the message VandenBout relayed stated they'd be out plowing that night (LIE #1) and gave an 'office' number to contact if you needed further assistance (LIE #2 - that phone number doesn't exist). So I used their online messaging, clearly explaining my predicament and need. NOBODY EVER CAME. Instead Ken VandenBout decided to incoherently rage text and taunt me, his paid-in-full disabled customer. Verbatim incoherent text #1 from Ken: "The job that you paid for is if we have snow. By midnight and an accumulates to 2 inches. It's cloud within 24 hours if we have additional slush that does from authentine. That is an additional charge if you have it where the city comes by and plows it in. I didn't put it on near the city. Does so that is an additional charge? The only way I send someone out is by an additional charge. It is $25 if you do not wish to have that. Done, that is perfectly funny. But I cannot dispatch somebody from our office to go to your house and then to come back to our office." When I sent him a photo of his contract language, I received this taunting incoherent text #2 from Ken: "Read it again, it says we come back and clear the driveway on heavier your occasions. Heavier occasion is not a 2 inch snowfall. So you're considering heavy to what I'm considering heavy. I guess are 2 different thanks. And yeah, if you can't drive through three inches of snow, then it's pretty tough lein and michi"
