      We had an issue with our water filter not coming out when attempting to change the filter. We called Whirlpool who connected us with their verified service repair business in our area - Via Appliance Repair. On the day of our service call appointment with Via Appliance Repair, our technician, Michael, was very friendly and very professional. He arrived on time, evaluated the issue we were having removing the water filter, and was able to remove the water filter and install the new filter, and was very efficient in completing the service visit in less than 30 minutes. He took the time to install the new filter as well as instruct us in the proper technique and steps to install and remove the water filter. He demonstrated the proper steps and technique for installing and removing the water filter a few times, so that we could duplicate it the next time the water filter needs to be changed. He did a terrific job! Thank you Michael! We are happy to give the service company, Via Appliance Repair, and our technician, Michael, a 5 star rating for this service call!

      My washer less than a year old has been out for 4 weeks. First it was the water pump and that did not fix it. Now it is the wiring. Who is going to pay for the trips to the laundromat? Maytag is not a good appliance. I have never owed anything else. Do not buy there products. The customer service system you call is also terrible. I was on the phone for over 2 hours before I spoke with a person.

      I purchased a whirlpool dishwasher on Jan of this year and it broke only having it for about six months. First time they came out to fix dishwasher they left the water on and they flooded my oak wood floors and left me to clean up, and they had to order the part. Next time they came out the part was not in their service truck so I had to schedule another time to get dishwasher repaired. They finally came out the third time to repair my dishwasher but only the pump was replaced. When they left I tried using the dishwasher I found out the heating element was broken and needed to set up another time to come out. They just came out today to install a new heating element only to be told they will have to order the part even thought I told them I needed a new heating element and they had my make and model of dishwasher so I do not understand why they did not come out with the part. I have now taken four days of work off and now it will be a fifth time when they come out in a couple of weeks to hopefully repair my piece of junk dishwasher mod number wdp540hamz serial number ****** I called whirlpool headquarters which took me hours to talk to a human. I was told that they will only fix it and not replace the piece of junk with a new one. I currently only a whirlpool washer, dryer, deep freezer, refrigerator, microwave and the piece of junk dishwasher, I have never had a problem with any of their products before, so that is why I keep buying whirlpool, but I can tell you that I will never purchase another whirlpool product after how I have been treated. One pissed off customer.

      Purchased 2 Whirlpool Refrigerator Sidekicks (WSR57R18DM) within the last 3+ years and both have quit cooling. I have reached out to Fergerson's in Hattiesburg MS (where both were purchased) and was told to contact the manufacturer. I reached out to Whirlpool and was told they could not assist due to the warranty is up. Option is to purchase a 3rd one - "3" in less than 3.5 years - really? No discounts. Nothing but a "we are truly sorry". $2500 each time - down the drain. Very disappointing and seems there is nothing that can be done due to being a purchase greater than 12 months and no extended warranty. We as consumers are in a terrible situation as there is no process in place to truly protect the consumer.

      Stay away from whirlpool refrigerators they are the worst. We went to three motherboards in three months and they wouldnt help us after that. They told us that our warranty was out and it wasnt. They said we registered in August. We didnt even buy the refrigerator till October and they were awful awful people stay away from.

      Whirlpool washing machine. After 1 year I have spent 100s trying to fix it. I contacted Whirlpool and explained I was sold a lemon. I asked them if they could replace the machine. They sent me a letter declining my request and offering no help what so ever. Stay away from this once upon a time but no longer good company!

      Our SS refrig installed in Mar 2025 has a damaged door that hasn't been resolved. The 2 replacement doors were damaged, not in shipping but off the line. No quality checks or they send damaged doors out for replacement. The frig rattles constantly and is loud enough that it wakes me up. All the jiggling and shifting temporary stops the rattle but it reruns after opening a door.

      I bought a whirlpool washer 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems with it. When I called the customer service, they wanted to sell me a new warrant for someone to come out and take a look at it which, was very expensive (almost the price of the washer)! A washer that only last 2 years in my opinion is JUNK.

      I wish leaving 0 stars was an option. I bought my Whirlpool washer in May of 2020 for roughly $500 (give or take a few dollars). November of 2020, it stopped cycling. It wont go into self diagnostic mode. I did all of the troubleshooting I could think of, however I came to a stopping point because I didnt know what to do. I called Whirlpool, they wanted to charge me a $335 up front fee to get someone to come out and diagnose/repair it with a 90 day warranty . Or, for $35 a month for 12 months the same services could be done. This comes with a 12 month warranty. Sounds great until you do the math as that comes out to $408. I decided for that money, I could buy a brand new washer. So I decided to buy an ** and am optimistic that this will last longer than 4 years as it should.Whirlpool is a scam, Im not at all satisfied and will no longer do business with them.
