      To start, their customer service is less than acceptable, their so called “warranty” is a comical joke, and their prices are 3X what the vehicles are worth. I 100% believe after we purchased a vehicle from them that they take them straight from the auctions to the lot without checking them over, check engine lights on every last vehicle in the Benton harbor lot, one riddled with bullet holes, flat tires, the list goes on and on, I found what seemd to be the “best” vehicle on the lot and boy was I wrong. 2 weeks, the transmission goes out, I had to fight tooth and nail for them to replace it. After 3 weeks without a vehicle I get it back, great right? Absolutely not…….1 week after being back from the transmission replacement, the engine starts making noise (I’m fairly mechanically inclined) they wanted to argue with me that they don’t cover engine work, so again I pull out the warrenty paper that I signed and pointed out to them they are legally obligated to repair it or let me out of the lease at no fault and boy they didn’t like that one bit. Fast forward after a ton of back and forth about it they finally put it in the shop. Finally a win right? Wrong again, 1 whole month this time with no updates until I refused to make a payment then that got their attention and now the car was moved all the way up to their in house shop with no authorization or notice, I’ve paid more on this car to sit then actually drive it at this point, so to avoid the headache of trying to share a vehicle with my wife again we decided to go buy another car from a different lot that’s 5 years newer, 100,000 less miles and about $8,000 cheaper. It’s been 2 month and we still haven’t gotten the express car back, unfortunately I think I may have to spend even more money on a car I can’t drive and hire a lawyer to get me out of this ridiculous lease with express auto. At this point the business is ran so poorly I think they need to be shut down so they can’t do this to anyone anymore.

      Christian, Victoria and Christina are rude and disrespectful, they don’t know how to do their job, I had my car since June and they didn’t give me everything I needed after calling and emailing multiple times for the power of attorney and lease agreement, Christian made me drive from Benton harbor Michigan all the way to Goshen Indiana with no plates or tags and then come to find out he messed up and told me to drive all the way back to the dealership to get a plate for my car, then they would sent me a “packet” but it didn’t have not 1 thing I actually needed to plate my car, so then my car got plated late and express only took the extra fees off of my next payment because “that’s all they could do” they’ll threaten tow trucks and repossession if your even a day late on payment then will call you in the rudest way “why haven’t you paid yet” they’ll only let certain people do double payments as well, ones already been shut down, shut all of them down, or get new employees

      I strongly suggest NO ONE get a vehicle from Express Auto!!! I got my van in June of 2022. 2 weeks after getting the van the exhaust had to be replaced. A month after that the brakes, tires, and then the starter. My van started over heating in September, but it was checked and stated that nothing was wrong. I hit a deer on Oct 9th, but the van was still drivable. Later in October of 2022 my van over heated all the way, which caused my engine to die. Their mechanic couldnt get my van in until early January. My van remained at the shop from January until May 11th. I do not blame the shop, because Express Auto only approved 1 part at a time, and they made me pay for the radiator. They stated they thought the radiator was messed up in the accident. If the car over heated, it would obviously need a radiator!! I was made to pay my car note, and the insurance through Express, all these months. I got my van back on 5/11/23 with the entire passenger headlight and bracket missing. I was told that I needed to put in another claim for that and pay another $500 deductible . On Monday, May 15th it would not start. I called my finance counselor, ********* multiple times. She left me a message stating that I needed to get the car towed back to the shop. In the 11 months I have had this vehicle, Ive only driven it for 4 months, but have paid every single car note!! DO NOT GET A CAR FROM EXPRESS. All they have is lemons. When you call them about anything wrong with the vehicle they are rude and will give you the run around, all while taking your money.

      I should not have to be paying for my vehicle's new problems after already having 20+ parts installed recently especially where the parts where in mechanics view to be noticably damaged. I don't this to be negligence. Since I've had this car it's been back to back problems one incident occuring just two days after getting the truck back. I don't understand how the vehicle passed inspection when it needed so many parts and now I can't even make it to a very important appointment tomorrow. I shouldn't be paying the deductible for the work being done now because mechanics overlook issues on the vehicle. I'd like reimbursement for this repair being done right now because it should have been fixed along with what was on our repair list
