Per our engagement letter, we prepared and filed the return. We are not engaged to continue to handle his *** correspondence. He fails to communicate that he caused *** issues by filing additional information with them and sending them unprofessional and inappropriate letters that were not pertinent to his return. His continued issues with the *** are not my responsibility. They have nothing to do with the original filing of the return. He received a letter showing the correct amount of tax he owed. Any additional correspondence is his concern. In 37 years of doing taxes, I have never had as difficult a client as this individual. He is not getting the desired outcome so continues to spread vile instead of take ownership. Our office has communicated to him that his correspondence is bordering on harassment.
Clients that our kind and respectful are our norm and we will go to extremes to serve them. After his continued attempts to file complaints and disparage my name we have been advised to disengage from any and all communication.
