On January 28, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.33 subd. (12). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to ensure at all times the 'Responsible Licensed Individual' for the business shall be an owner, officer or managing employee actively engaged in performing electrical work on behalf of the business and all employees performing electrical work are properly licensed or registered and are supervised. The business also agreed to ensure that all permits or requests for inspections are obtained before beginning work in Minnesota. The business shall pay $1,500.00 of a $4,000.00 penalty, with the balance stayed on the condition the business does not violate any law, rule or Order in the future.
