Despite Stone Countertop Outlet's claims of "state-of-the-art manufacturing and fabrication capabilities" and "to deliver an entirely new stone buying experience that is customer-focused" our experience was quite the opposite. After signing Stone Countertop Outlet's contract that required acceptance of their "Countertop ***************** Checklist" agreeing ". . . to industry standard allowances/tolerances put in place for fabrication and installation of countertops", and after they agreed just the day before (in writing) to provide a flush sink mount, they canceled the contract due to the sink detail and their concern that they ". . . will not be able to fulfill my expectations." The countertops were scheduled to be installed the following week -- just before Christmas, so our kitchen was a construction zone instead of being complete for the holidays and there wasn't anything we could do about it.Our numerous trips to various stone distributors to select slabs (which Stone Countertop now owned) was wasted, as was the time to carefully check their numerous documents (that often had errors) and being present for measurements (they had to return a second time). So, if you are looking for quality be careful about asking for it with this company or they will cancel your contract and leave you with an unfinished project.
