On 4/24/2024, I purchased a Jeep Cherokee at ********************* I put $3,000 down on a ****** loan. After driving it for two days I realized that this was not the car for me. I am a community mental health case manager and transport clients and need to carry with me an array of items and recourses for my clients. I let the sales person, **** now that there was not enough room in the car so I put clients in the back seat, there was no storage, the "car port" system was more of a distraction and did not always display the time and I would have to adjust it or look at my phone. I asked ****, what we could do to change vehicles and he told me all I can help you with is to "put you in a Grand Jeep that has more room" or try to get you a leased car. What I did not tell **** is that I also just did not feel safe in the Jeep, I became ****** cautious fearing an accident. I continued to drive it, thinking I could "get used to it." By 6/16/2024, I had even more issues with the Jeep and the sensors backing up produced high levels of anxiety and the fear of an accident stayed with me. I called Fifth Third Back, the loan company and asked them what I could do, they suggested I return the Jeep. On 6/17/2024 the Jeep was returned to ********************* in Roseville, **. They charged me $5,467 dollars to "buy back" the Jeep. They would not work with me on the amount or consider I wanted to return it two days after I purchased the vehicle. Further more on 6/24/24, **************** took another $589.11 out of my account at Associated. I work hard serving the mental health community and try to deliver my services in a way that is ethical and with integrity. This situation has completely depleted my account at the Bank now. They should have said, bring it in, we'll work something out. I am a single incomed household and the additional $5,467 has been a financial burden, but one I felt I had to make under these circumstances.
