On August 1, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business failed to submit a written purchase offer to a seller, a violation of Minn. Stat. § 82.71 subd. 1 (2022); failed to clearly display the name of the real estate company in advertising, a violation of Minn. Stat. § 82.69 (a) (2022); made material misstatements in two applications for real estate licenses, a violation of Minn. Stat. § 82.81 subd. 12 (5) (2022); failed to include required terms for a seller in a listing agreement, in violation of Minn. Stat. § 82.66 subd. 1 (b) (3) (2022); and failed to update addresses and emails, a violation of Minn. Stat. § 82.65 subd. 1 (2022).

Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to pay $3,500.00 of a $6,500.00 penalty, with the balance stayed on the condition that the business does not violate any rules, laws or orders under the authority of Minnesota Dept. of Commerce and to no longer violate any laws, rules or orders under Minnesota Dept. of Commerce authority and also pay $90.00 in investigative costs.
