If I could give Country Club Bank (CCB) 0 stars or less, I would. I write this review warning anyone considering banking with CCB – DO NOT DO IT!!! My former partnership banked here for almost 3 years. CCB told my equal partner and I they would assist us with the PPP Loan application process, due to its alleged complexity. They required us to guarantee the loans in our personal capacities equally. During the term of the Note, CCB accepted unofficial, verbal notice of withdrawal from my former partner on behalf of our partnership and engaged in a conflict-of-interest discussion with her on how her alleged withdrawal only required a change of ownership form that "was not long" and that CCB would "put [our partnership] in the queue for forgiveness right away," which was a lie because CCB had no authority to do this without SBA approval. CCB never told my partner that her withdrawal would cause the partnership to breach the Note, or that the Note required prior written approval from the SBA. CCB NEVER informed me of its discussion with my former partner. CCB then allowed her to withdraw approximately $50,000 in partnership assets, in cash from the branch we banked at, without so much as a question, and AFTER receiving the above information form her, without EVER verifying it with me. Needless to say, they destroyed my financial health, from which I am still struggling to recover. CCB later tried to deny having this conversation with my former partner, and required me to provide "official" proof of her withdrawal, THEN SENT ME A BREACH OF PROMISSORY NOTE NOTICE CONTAINING TERMS THAT WERE COMPLETELY INCONSISTENT WITH THEIR STATEMENTS TO MY PARTNER!! CCB disclaimed all liability. The only way I can describe Country Club Bank when it comes to "Commercial Lending" is incompetent, inept, and utterly careless about the damage they caused me and our clients with their negligence. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO BANK AT COUNTRY CLUB BANK, EVER.
