I was hired approximately September 8 set up direct deposit that day. None of my checks for direct deposit in each week. I have to wait and I only two weeks to get paid but three weeks because my employer continued to send paycheck through the mail instead of direct deposit or sending it to the store, which has made me late and all my bills left me with no food or gas.I am still in the process of receiving my final paycheckReview from David E

Ordered two pairs of identical shoes on special Buy One get one 1/ 2 off.Received one pair, then they cancelled the second and refunded the 1/2 off portion of my order.I will never purchase anything from this organization again. Scammers.Review from Zhouli Y

The reason why I did not file a claim on BBB was because I did not need Allen Edmonds to refund me anything. Instead, Allen Edmonds needs to respect their client much better. First of all, when I visited local retail store, all the staffs who helped me were professional and friendly. Until I bought from Allen Edmonds' website. I bought 3 pairs from online but I only received 1 pair. The shipping box was large for 3 pairs but there was only 1 pair that I ordered in the shipping box. The tracking information also indicated package weight of 3 pairs so apparently ***** staff stole 2 pairs on the way. Contacted AE and shared my discovering, I specially told them that I was willing to help and testify if they talked to *****. The next business day, AE emailed me saying they had credit me for the 2 missing pairs but "recommended" me to use alternative shipping address going forward. Otherwise they would not refund if the package was lost again. They further indicated that AE was not responsible when the package left their warehouse. This is the first and only time I experienced such policy, even the **** individual seller would be responsible or at least talk to shipping company in such circumstance. So, I decided "recommendation" all my connections not buying from Allen Edmonds and will personally stay away from the company.Review from Kendra G

They sent me a pair of defective shoes. They were supposed to be 9.5W but they're 10W (I own both of these sizes so I know) They won't handle the issue, they want me to contact Sketchers instead. These shoes have rubbed holes in my socks and caused blisters on my feet because they're too big and mislabeled as a 9.5W (they were meant for work)Don't buy from here online unless you have stores nearby, otherwise you're going to get charged multiple shipping fees with no garuntee of a solution. Hope Sketchers will actually help me out even though it's not their fault that FamousFootwear didn't verify the quality of the shoes they were sending out. Everyone else haves to pay for their s**** up except them.Review from Gian G

Delivered my package to the wrong address. Had to jump through hoops with the courier just to file a claim, only for the courier to say that I couldn't do a thing - the shipper (Allen Edmonds) had to file the claim. Called the Allen Edmonds customer service line, and they said they couldn't file anything for a week and that I would have to call back - after waiting ***** minutes - 6-7 days later.FedEx (courier) won't help, Allen Edmonds won't help. I bought a pair of expensive Allen Edmunds shoes. But loafers with a lug sole. They literally sleek and make noice when I walk in them. I bought them a Nordstrom. I tried to return them or have them repaired, by *********. ********* said they couldnt help. I took them to an Allen Edmunds retail store and was told the same thing. $500 for a pair of shoes. You would at least expect them not to squeak like clown shoes. Terrible.Review from Cali J

I worked for this company for 6 years. I was a loyal employee who helped at multiple stores *** was working 6 days a week because we were understaffed. I recently was fired because I opened the door after a customer refused to leave when asked. I was told I did EVERYTHING right in the situation other than the fact that I opened the door instead of calling the cops. There is NOWHERE in our handbook that says this is wrong. I ordered a pair of shoes from Famous Footwear for Christmas. It read as delivered but it was not delivered to my address. They use ***** so I contacted them. The shipping method Famous Footwear selected does not allow ***** to give me any information. I contacted Famous Footwear 3 times and each time they were ****** rude and refused to help. I am not being offered to reship the shoes, I am not being offered a refund, and they are not looking into the issue with ***** until 12/27. They have made no attempt to help me with my issue as a customer and should not be in the business if they refuse to deal with issues.Review from Yazan C

I called today 10/30/23 the customer service agent was yelling at me the entire time on the phone. I asked for a supervisor and she told me the supervisor didn't want to get on the phone. This started because I called Fed Ex and Fed Ex told me to call Famous Footwear. The shoes I ordered went out for delivery on a Sunday and didn't go back for delivery today on a Wensday. Fed Ex told me that can't even see which warehouse it's at and they stated something seems fishy. The agent on the phone told me " she can send feedback to Fed Ex but she was not doing that. All she kept telling me is what Fed Ex couldn't and or should have did instead of sending the feedback I asked her too what is the problem. Famous Footwear forgot who the customer is and this agent should be fired for acting like I called her house versus a business. All she needed to do is send the feedback to ******Review from Dejae c

I purchased gym shoes for my son on July 22, and never received notice that the shoes were available for pick up at the *******, ******** location. I called the store on July 29th and was told the shoes were there, and I could come get them. On July 31st I went to the store, the sales associate grabbed the shoes from behind the counter, she was literally able to see it in her system exactly what shoes I was picking up. The shoes were already purchased online by my credit card with the company so all I was doing was picking up. She would not allow me to leave with the shoes. Her manager ****** also did not allow me to take the shoes. She claims she can't find it in the system, but then why are the shoes behind the counter and how did you know after looking me up which shoes I was there to pick up? I tried calling customer service for assistance and was told by two associates over the phone they can see my order. I had to purchased the same exact shoes AGAIN with my credit up, use my reward points, before ****** would allow me to leave the store with them. so now I have two charges on my store card for the exact pair of shoes. No one will give me a refund. I spoke with **** in customer service and he told me I would have to call back with the receipt number and store number before he could file a complaint to the district manager because he did not believe my story. I am a single mother who is just trying to get shoes for my son. Unacceptable! I felt so humiliated in the store being treated like a liar and a thief instead of the long term customer I am.
