I used ***** ******* for my family's pool. He is NOT LICENSED in the state of TN! My boyfriend who is the homeowner with me had to pull the permit, for he is a licensed contractor in the state of TN. The guy comes with a contract on July 26 & says that he will begin the process on an in-ground gunite pool as we previously discussed during a consultation. Fast forward to November 2021 and the pool is still NOT completed. We have countless amicable discussions with this guy about his poor time management, tardiness, absence, and poor quality of work. Finally, my boyfriend decided to fire him - it's not like he comes to the house to perform the work anyhow. He subcontracts people to do the work. In the city & neighborhood in which I live, I am expected to adhere to an HOA's rules. My house is a mess, my dig was not dug correctly, he never comes with the materials when he says he is - material in which I am paying him for! Well, I do what any homeowner of a brand-new home, built in 2020 would do! I go out and speak to the gentleman who are doing the work & ask them how much longer I must go before the job would be finished, were there any errors made besides the visible errors that I can see. For example, the tile on the spa (which happens to the be the focal point is a sloppy & the tile lines are off). But the workers assured me that they only went by the measurements of what ***** gave them. Back to the sloppy job site. my house looks like a nuisance on the street & the HOA has set standards in which the property should adhere to. Thankfully, I was able to have the workers put up a fence to partition the mess so that it is not visible from the street. We are now on December 8, 2021 & I get an alert on my camera that there is activity, but cars pass by all the time. I go to take my dog for a walk & who do I see parked in my cove looking into my house's direction - ***** *******!!!!!! This guy has frightened the heck out of me.
