Letter Sent To West Main Outlet Approximately 3 months ago I ordered 2 XWFE GE filters. I chose your company due to the professionalism of your site and your stated commitment to your customers. Last week I needed to change my filter. When I installed it I got a ERR message. I tried the second one with the same results. I called GE and they stated the XWFE filter needs an RDIF chip and to make sure I did not have a WXF filter. You did ship an XWFE filter but it has no chip hence the error message. I contacted your company by email 2 times with no response. I called the 2 numbers listed over the last week. One mail box was full and the other stated to leave a message, again no response. The greeting however was not your company’s name? While I believed I was doing business with a reliable company I may have been wrong. The filters I received are supposed to be genuine. The XWFE on the label is almost non readable and the top of the filter is different from my old factory filter. I was in business for 47 years and realize problems do occur from time to time. The problem is I can not reach your company. I am not sure Ms. Mary, listed to contact, even exists. Her mail box has been full for a week. Please advise what I need to do next before I go further to get satisfaction. If I seem frustrated I am. I feel I was misled by your site. It seems your customer service is non existent. At this point I am not sure this is even a GE filter as stated on your site. GE said all their XWFE filters have RDIF chips.
