In 2021, I contacted Carolina United for a second opinion on a roof replacement and chose to go with them based on recommendations and the customer service experienced first hand. There was no up-sell in their approach, which I had seen elsewhere. They made the entire process truly easy. As for the crew, they were prompt and very efficient, getting done in a lot less time than I would have imagined. I have seen other crews working in my neighborhood start in the morning and finish very late - this crew, however, was able to complete the job in half the time; they were simply more prepared and efficient. They were also very professional, prepping and cleaning up much more than expected. Three years later, having had no issues with the roof replacement, I was in the attic and noticed in a hard-to-see location that one of the pieces of roof decking had a hole at the end of the board through which some of the roof underlayment appeared. I notified Carolina United because I wasn't sure this was a problem (or could become one) and even though it's been a few years since the installation, **** graciously took my call, quickly pulled up my record, and offered to make repairs (the missing piece of decking likely fell off when the underlayment or shingles were being nailed on). What I need to emphasize is that I was pretty hesitant to mess with a roof that wasn't causing me problems and **** spent some weeks with me answering my questions and putting me at ease that the repair would be seamless. Again, nothing was wrong with the roof but he showed me that they stood by their work and put customer service first. Pretty notable and commendable. And the crew that came out really put me at ease and did an excellent job, much like the original crew.
