              I received a promotion coupon for 20% off dry-cleaning and shirt laundry services. I clicked redeem in the email I received. I then dropped off a large order of dry-cleaning and shirts to be laundered the next day (12/23). When I got notice that the order was ready for pickup, I noticed a 10% coupon had been applied to some of the groups in my order. When I stopped by to pick up my order, I brought this to the attention of the employee, Noah. I explained the issue to **** and asked him to correct it. I showed him the email promotion I received, and he said that it expired on 12/24. I told him that I dropped off the order on 12/23. He said I had to pick it up before the coupon expired. I let him know that I was told the order wouldn't be ready until 12/27. He said he doesn't know how the system works, that it's all automated, and went back inside. He then brought out my order and placed it in the car. I asked him if he had corrected the issue and he said no, the computer does everything automatically. I demonstrated the issue on the receipts, but Noah said there’s nothing he can do. He charged my card on file for the incorrect amount and dismissed me.

              Our Manager over this location was in contact with this customer. We have multiple automatic coupons (redeemed by the customer via email or our app) which cannot be combined: this customer had activated 3 coupons, so only 1 attached to his order. These automated coupons cannot be manually added or removed by our counter clerks, which is why the clerk in question was unable to edit the discount. The counter clerk offered a future discount to include the coupon this customer was unable to use, but the customer declined. Our Manager was on location but was busy finishing up a task, and the customer opted not to wait to speak with him on the day of the transaction. Our Manager was able to get in touch with this customer later and award him $40 credit on a future order, which is a larger amount than the coupon would have discounted, and he noted that the customer seemed satisfied with this offer.
