I purchased 2 cubic yards of "compost-topsoil" blend from this company for my garden beds as they sell this product for gardens. It was dry when it was received and looked okay. I filled 3 garden beds with it but didn't plant in it as I decided to try it out with a few cherry tomato plants and see what it looked like when it was wet. We got a lot of rain that weekend, and once this product was wet I was utterly disappointed. It was full of stones and hard as a rock. The cherry tomatoes I planted in it were dead within a week and the dirt around it was also hard as a rock, even though I added mulch on top of it. It looks like dirt that was randomly collected with some cow manure mixed in.I attempted to contact the company from the same number I had placed the order with but suspiciously my call wouldn't go through. I therefore contacted them on another phone and the call went through! I asked what they sold me and how are they selling this as something to grow food in. I was told they don't even mix it themselves but buy it that way and they've been selling it for 10 years and then I was hung up on.This is the type of company that gives American businesses a bad name. They sell a sub-par product and take no responsibility for it. They're only after money. Avoid this business if you are looking for quality material to grow your food in.
