***** uses ************************ out of Keizer, Oregon to set up door and window installations done by Prestige Renovations out of Lincoln, Nebraska. I had ***** (and therefore, ******************* and Prestige Renovations) install a ***************** storm door and two ***** 250 window sliders with extra foam insulation. The installer obviously did not have good door installation skills and first presented a door with a gaping hole in the lower right corner stating that the door was not plumb. Interesting because the original storm door installer (the one being replaced) had no such issues. The installer also said that the storm door would fit so tightly that it would have to be manually shut. The door shuts on its own and has so many gaps that it fogs up in cold weather. The door lock is also misaligned and the glass storm door has a or weather stripping fault in its weather stripping at the top .
One window slider appears to be missing some insulation in the bottom left hand corner. The inside caulking cracked and separated three days after installation when the weather turned cold. The other slider doesn't close quite right as if it is misaligned. It has problems with cracks and drafts and must have some insulation issues also.
And just as a part of a professional installation, all 3 items (door and 2 windows) all were left with caulking hand smears that had hardened in the inside.
***** was great with the sales and the product information. The installation was sloppy. I hope they fix it but they seem very unskilled and sloppy
