We did run into a water leak issue where parts of a wall needed repair. Patrick was able to get it done, but took him about 2 weeks to do it.
Finally getting into the actual shower work, Patrick and his 1 worker would show up whenever they felt like it, and sometimes skip several days. When they did show up, it would sometimes be for 30 minutes, or a couple of hours.
After 3 months, my mom finally gave Patrick an warning to get it done. They finally started getting to work. My mom bought all the tile, which was a travertine style, and needed to be put up in a specific pattern. Patrick's helper had never installed this tile before, and did not follow the diagram my mom gave him for reference. When he put up 1/4 of the tile, and she inspected it, it was completely wrong. He had to take it down, and she had to show him tile by tile how to put it up.
Finally on the last week of needing it to be at least ready to use the shower, Patrick had to work until almost midnight to meet the finishing goal. After inspection, the glass shower doors are not sealed, the grout has gaps where water is going to leak, and there is thinset, grout, and a red sealer all over the inside of the shower on the walls that will need to be cleaned and scrubbed.
This project has been going on for over 3 months, and is only 1/2 finished. After looking at the results, a new contract will need to be brought in to fix the damage and finish it.
DO NOT USE Patrick ****** and his business Durwood Contracting. You will regret it. He will probably respond and say there was a bench added and the water damage needed fixing, and she added some new tile to the mix, but a 10x10 bathroom does not take 4 months to tile. And it's not installed correctly for what he's done.
