SCAM !!!! this company is the biggest scam car company, that I've seen. I was in need of a car, to get my family around to work, doctor appointments, etc. So, I thought this would be a great car company to work with. Well, I can personally say that was the dumbest thing that I decided to do. When I first purchased the automobile, everything was going great. Within a month I started having issues with the engine light turning on and off. When I contacted Mike, I was told that it was a sensor issue and that the light would go off. I took the car to the tire plus repair shop to get the sensor checked out, I was told by the young man working at the facility. That there wasn't a sensor on the car, due to the tires being changed out because some one placed rims on the car. After, that issue I had a problem with the timing chain belt. When, I called brad to discuss the issue. per quote " I was driving it" and that they would look at the car but every time. I called to set up an appointment with the mechanic, for some reason he was always out of town. Later down the months I started having issues with the engine. I called, reported it to Mike and I was told once again that it was the sensor or a shortage in the car. The engine light would appear and then go off. Around this time , my daughter took the car to a grease monkey location for an oil change. When she returned home, she stated that according to the service men at grease monkey. Told her that the transmission needed to be serviced, when I called Brad and questioned him about the transmission. Due, to Mike the other salesman telling me on the day of purchase, that the transmission was brand new. Brad said " That he wasn't aware of a new transmission being placed in the car". Just recently after having a conversation with Brad, I found out that a new transmission was never placed in the car. So, Mike gave false advertisement. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN !! Also, I purchased a warranty that covers nothing !!!

Michelle, A tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) is installed in most vehicles nowadays, they are installed on the rims and monitor the tire pressure in the tire. If the rims were replaced after the sale of the vehicle, then I would suggest that the time those were replaced was the problem. If the rims were not replaced after the sale, then the tire light would be on when you purchased the vehicle, if there were no TPMS in the vehicle as stated that you were told by Tires Plus. The light would have been on since before you bought the vehicle and would have been known to you because of the TPMS light on. If one of the TPMS sensors malfunctioned, but was in the rim, not what you stated then that would not be a warranty item and you were mis-diagnosed at Tires Plus. Further, the warranty paperwork clearly defines the parts covered under the warranty. There are many reasons that can cause a check engine light to come on. Often though it is caused by a sensor in the vehicle that has reading out of its normal scope of the parameters that the sensor is supposed to have. This can be caused by many different things and is why we suggest taking the vehicle to a mechanic to have the check engine light diagnosed. But given that it was a light that came on and then went off I would guess that there was a sensor that was going bad on the car. Another thing that can cause a check engine light to come on is the fuel cap being loose, not saying that was the case here, but if it is loose it can cause the check engine light to come on and possibly go off and on. At the end of the day, without a proper diagnosis, it is hard to say what caused the light. As far as the Grease Monkey situation is concerned, as with all lube centers, they all suggest services based on the mileage of the vehicle and what is recommended by the manufacturer. So, if they were suggesting a service that does not necessarily mean the vehicles transmission needs to be replaced. They may have been suggesting a transmission flush of another service like a transmission filter. But all this is irrelevant because you had a 12-month warranty and you have had the vehicle for a year and a half. So, the warranty on the vehicle has expired. If you would like to further discuss please feel free to give us a call at the store.
