********************* of ***************************, our General Contractor, built us a very expensive home extension (a master bedroom with a master bathroom and a walk-in closet) extending over an existing garage, in 2015.Since the construction was completed (2015), we have had 5 leaks in the master bathroom, the first one beginning in 2017, within 2 years of build.Not small leaks. We've had extensive damage to our garage, flooring, sheet rock/walls, resulting in gaping wall cut outs in the master bedroom (that he built), and the garage under (half the ceiling and insulation have been destroyed and are yet to be replaced).Needless to say, outside of the time, effort, anxiety and disappointment of how this nightmare has turned out, it has cost us in tens of thousands of dollars since.The company, and ****'s response to several pleading requests, was simply that this was beyond his contractual agreement (even though the first leak had happened within 2 years of construction). He took no responsibility for his plumbers work, the defective/ poor quality products that were used, or the fact that he lives in the same neighbourhood and his selling point (at the time of submitting bids) was that he was in the same town and could always help if needed.Beware of them for any of your work!!
